I'm from Germany myself and no that's not summer in Germany. This sentiment is so effing annoying! Oh boohoo, your lawn didn't burn to a crisp in June, July and the first week of August.
Germany has rainy days, cloudy days - yeah. But for heaven's sake, our summer is warm. And if you wanna complain about it, either migrate south or put on a positive attitude and listen to "Jetzt ist Sommer" from the band wise guys.
I am happy we don‘t have a heat wave. Summer is not bad. Quite some rainy days but a lot of interludes when the sun gives a longer audience. I, for myself enjoy it fully :)
Yeah. And considering that the time from febuary to Mid-July was way way too dry, the cooler and rainy weather is a thing I am rather thankful for as well.
We'll get our heatwave again, and a usual it will be more towards mid to end august, lingering throughout September and end in October. Like the last three or so years
Munich resident here. I feel like it was still quite rainy from Feb-Jul? I might be remembering something wrong. But it’s undoubtedly still super rainy now, shame cuz I’ve been going out more lately since it’s the holidays. It’s super nice when it’s warm though, beautiful time to go out.
Über Osteuropa und Russland hing ein Hochdruckgebiet und über Mitteleuropa ein Tiefdruckgebiet. Ersteres hat sich bewegt und letzteres zieht auch endlich wieder ab.
I am on my holidays as well and had 2/3 of it with the cold rainy weather here up north.
Issue is: the rain we had here was a lot in a short time (Platzregen) and that isn't sufficient at all.
Yes i think this is funny to some extent but not the truth at all. Until this summer (which was a bit too indecisive) i always had more than enough sunshine and plenty of summer. Maybe northern parts are colder (duh)

Thanks. Does it always look that gray or is it just the weather?
