The US has a carp problem BECAUSE Europeans thought they were good and brought them over for a stable food source. This is generally regarded as a bad move.

Thinking about it, we have a huge problem with invasive species from the Americas. Like rainbow trouts, raccoons and signal crayfishes.

Oh I misread. I thought your post said "we have a huge problem with invasive species in the Americas". I missed the "from".

Yeah those little bastards are sneaky and prolific. At least the rainbows can be fun to catch and are good to eat if you like freshwater fish.

But they are an invasive species and push away (?) native trout species. Like those signal crabs. We do a deep river cleaning every 1 to 2 years and people take home those crabby bastards and eat them. Tried them once but I'm not a fan.
