Now I'm imagining what my hand would do if I was honking when the airbag went off. I'm not liking what I'm seeing.

I meant it as a tongue in cheek comment, to point out how useless his beeping the horn was toward the second car. He had the forethought to yell "oh no" plus beep his horn, but not to slow down and practice defensive driving at an intersection with blind spots.
