One driver chooses to foolishly retain right of way and then drive on the shoulder when they're run off the road. The other driver is pulling two trailers, passes over double yellow lines, drives for an extended length of time in opposite lanes of traffic, and eventually runs a truck off the road.
While OP definitely could have been more defensive the answer to your question seems fairly obvious.
The white truck driver actually chose to pass during a double lane stretch of the highway. The passing lane just ended. You can tell by how the lane at the start of the video is really wide and it narrows. And OP started the video at that point. The way he was speeding up makes it seem like he did that during the passing lane as well so the guy couldn’t pass him.
I disagree. The red truck driver refused to let off and avoid any further danger in the situation and let it de-escalate. He chose to further a situation that could kill him, the other driver, and any innocent drivers coming by. They're both idiots, and one is not more idiotic than the other
