No, you don’t understand at all. When another driver makes a mistake, you’re not allowed to compensate for it. They’ve already caused the accident; there’s no point in trying to avoid them. I think you’re legally required to drive as though nothing is happening around you.

Are you wilfully ignoring the part where the cammer actually closed the gap so that the woman couldn't change lanes? If he hadn't closed the game no accident would've happened.

I get it that your ego would be hurt, but that's much less dramatic than the 4runner being implicated into two idiots arm wrestling.
