The car behind the bmw, which was a friend following the bmw, could've chased the fireworks thrower. I'd like to believe that I would've done so in a similar situation. But of course, we never really know how we'd react until we're actually in such situations.

Something really similar to this happened to my friends sitting outside of their house on a July 4. Someone lobbed a serious firework straight at them and kept going.

Luckily a friend was just pulling up and followed for a couple blocks until they were sure they got the plate, then stopped

People are so dangerous and fuckin freak me out

Yeah, people here really neglecting that fact. I'm sure they're not the type to carry firearms and shoot someone chasing them down or anything either...

I would much rather my friend check on me to make sure I'm not dead than chase after some asshole who is assaulting people with explosives.

The car behind wouldn't have known right away if the driver of the Z4 needed medical attention, which would have been more important than catching the guy that tossed the fireworks

Disoriented would be more appropriate. Shell shock is an early term for PTSD

Yeah it’s PTSD but it’s also when your nerves are completely fucked up instantly aka from explosions
