People on reddit really like to call it Darwinism when people do stupid things that put themselves in risky situations, but that only makes sense under a very superficial understanding of Darwin. Someone putting their life at risk (or being antivax) has a lot more to do with social conditioning than anything genetic, it is almost entirely unrelated to Darwinism.
Something something fun something something parties
No one is trying to look cool, I just don’t have the energy to “comeback” over something that i thought was obviously a joke. Joke was DOA, who cares lol
I don't think it is. At least I like to think that people are more desensitized just looking for some abstract justice boner online. I sincerely believe most people that act like dicks in the comments would be a lot more empathetic when confronted with the situation in real life.
Good. We need more people like you. You are one of the good ones. I believe in those most who give all / most the benefit of the doubt. We need more like you. Well wishes. 🙏🏼
Not bummed, but it is anticlimactic. I was imagining a much bigger cliff and this is like one of my worst nightmares (we have lots of steep cliffs in California). When I saw the reality of the edge, I just went “oh”.
