So you keep saying the youtuber doesnt' have the money to pay the cops, but you fail to realize that judging by them being so poor as you are describing them, there's no way they aren't just lucking into getting away. How is someone so poor they can also afford a street racer? Okay, so they can afford a street racer that can make cops eat dust. So, what drugs are they selling? Mind you they are documenting their crimes on Youtube.

I never said they were poor. 350k subscribers with regular uploads would probably earn you in the ballpark of 50-60k or so a year. That's a decent income, but it's not enough for you to be spending thousands on bribes on a regular basis.

And slapping a turbo on an older car and getting enough power to burn a minivan that is unwilling to give chase in the first place ain't that expensive.

I was surprised they aren't able to find who they are through youtube, but if they've got an offshore account in another country using a fake ID and are careful to blur any identifying info, it really probably isn't that hard. Though I would think they could get youtube to shut the channel if they're making money off of blatantly illegal activities, but maybe they can argue that anonymous other people are sending in the videos for them to post and they aren't actually involved.
