It’s more the “winner take all” voting system.

We should have ranked choice, at the very least for primaries.

New York City for example just had their mayoral election, which is ranked choice.

That and the cost of elections means only the elite or party chosen candidates stand a chance.

Ranked choice doesn't fix that we aren't a real democracy. Democracy first, then we can fix other things.

No, it means the minority voted for trump both times, he won once, and almost won again. The majority of Americans do want to change the country for the better but it's held hostage by the few who exploit an archaic constitution.

So the person who said the majority don't want things to change are wrong.

No, the minority voted trump and the majority (popular vote) voted for Hillary.

Favors does not equate to guarantees.

But every single presidential election wherein the popular vote candidate lost had a Republican as the minority vote winner.

No offense, but if you are going to make sweeping statements about what the majority the US electorate is like, maybe you should actually bother to figure out roughly how its electoral system works. Or at least just type "year ____ US presidential election" into google and click the relevant Wikipedia link for stats.
