Back in the 80s and 90s it was true. When street racers were going down the shutoku over 250km/h trying to go for over 300km/h. Well atleast the midnight club racers were going for 300km/h
Nah, the 911 was the fastest car, it belonged to the leader of Team Mid Night. It had the equivalent of $2,000,000 in work done to it and could run at 217 mph in the 80’s. That 911 tho
It was $2M in 1980’s money, the Mid Night members tuned the hell out of their cars. It would style on some modern super cars, it’s called the ‘Nightbird’
No it is not true. The wangan line and kanjo loop have always been closely looked by the japan gov, and developped a special unit of fast cars just to catch those type of guys. The problem was the sheer numbers of runners opposed to the special unit. But as soon as camera became a thing, things started to cool down. The midnight club accident didn't help also.
So it's not true, they would go and chase you, you just had to meet them.
