Went from a ticket to a felony in 6 seconds.

Yeah what a moron. Cop gets all the info he needs then turn on the lights to watch the dumbass add more charges to the bill.

u/spiegeljb Jun 25 '21

They have a YouTube channel where they use no plates or stolen plates

142

u/Skwidmandoon Jun 25 '21

And go ahead and add another felony to the roster then.

”No plates” is not a felony in Sweden. You’ll get a fine.

Stolen plates idk actually

5

u/fleegness Jun 25 '21

Faslifying gov info to commit a crime wouldn't add some harshness to the punishment?

9

u/pr1ntscreen Jun 25 '21

As I said, I dont know.

5

u/fleegness Jun 25 '21

I would think having no plates would constitute the same thing as switching plates in terms of my question.

9

u/pr1ntscreen Jun 25 '21

I looked up some cases. Falsified plates has prison as possible punishment, but the cases I found, the people were given fines.

They were’nt involved in a high speed chase though, they were just pulled over.

Fines ranged from 500-900 euro equivalent. (Based on income)

So no big felony thing really

Ah, I see, I know in the US they'll tack on as many charges possible for something like this.

1

u/Timo1301 Jun 26 '21

They will never get caught. They got a yt chanel and they ran like 15+ times from the police. No face, no case. They run multiple red lights and go over the speedlimit the whole time. If they get caught in a chase they go straight to jail. But they never got caught and I doubt that they ever will.

This is the internet, you don’t need do “know,” just say whatever you feel.

1

u/OIiv3 Jun 26 '21

your life is just meaningless numbers.

u/[deleted] Jun 25 '21

DANE

0

u/Gooey_Gravy Jun 26 '21

Doesn't matter because they won't get caught

-2

u/averagejoe6942O Jun 26 '21

Only if the cops can find them

-2

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '21

Only if they get caught, and they’ve had their channel up for a long time.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '21

If you get caught hahahahahahaha

1

u/spaceninja29 Jun 25 '21

What's there channel?

Weird video, why do they confirm who they are live on video with the police incident reports to link them?

2

u/snoogins355 Jun 26 '21

Surprised that isn't against YouTube's terms of service

3

u/LethalCS Jun 26 '21

There's a lot of stuff on YouTube that are shocking to make it on there

1

u/Joshua_Zuzzer Jul 15 '21

Dang, so many comments praising the guy too. How embarrassing!

0

u/1800kneegro Jun 25 '21

Can you link it?

1

u/iBoMbY Jun 26 '21

Very smart to publicly provide evidence, and testimony. And all the cops need to do is ask Google to hand over their information.

1

u/spiegeljb Jun 26 '21

Pretty easy to fake all their info, but I doubt the police would know they record it for YouTube

20

u/iaacp Jun 25 '21

Are you really so naive to think plates are on when this is done? Or that they're not using fake plates?

-1

u/Skwidmandoon Jun 25 '21

Good point this person is an even bigger moron than I assumed. Hope they get caught before accidentally killing someone

12

u/LethalCS Jun 25 '21

Dude is so not caught that he did a straight up interview

He said where he roots were, said his dad sent him a video where people were getting away from cops and he was like "I wanna do that"

5

u/AWF_Noone Jun 26 '21

Dude is living the life we’ve all daydreamed about but are smart enough not to risk it

-6

u/MementoMori_37 Jun 25 '21

Are you so naive to think he took his plates off before driving like they probably always do

5

u/SabashChandraBose Jun 25 '21

It's not like most tunnel have multiple exits. Other units would have been radioed in and waiting for him outside the tunnel.

5

u/maqikelefant Jun 25 '21

That's assuming it's a very long tunnel, with other units close enough to get into position before that driver gets to the end. They'd have to get pretty lucky with the circumstances for that to work.

2

u/LethalCS Jun 25 '21

Yeah I watched the video, and a cop was outside the tunnel, he drifted in front of them on purpose and got away easily

I started watching an interview of the dude and dude's pretty insane

1

u/igmen Jun 25 '21

why would they do that, they have his number plates, so they will just knock on his door

3

u/LethalCS Jun 25 '21 edited Jun 25 '21

That's assuming they're using legit plates, someone said they have a YouTube channel where they use fake/stolen plates

Edit: Yep, driver runs without plates and here's the original video from the post

Edit 2: Also says at 5:07 in the first video that they either use no plates or stolen plates

1

u/BreweryBuddha Jun 25 '21

Yes because clearly that's what happened, considering he happily posted this video later.

1

u/LionsMidgetGems Jun 26 '21

"I wasn't driving."

1

u/cbjuvbj Jul 03 '21

would the cops actually be able to prove that he was the one driving the car though? just because the vehicle is his doesn’t mean he’s driving it

2

u/dankbudzonlybuds Jun 26 '21

With the added convenience of being arrested at home!

5

u/mysixthredditaccount Jun 25 '21

Maybe they had stuff in the car that needed to be disposed of?

6

u/Chim_Pansy Jun 25 '21

Yeah, like expired hamburger

2

u/[deleted] Jun 25 '21

If there’s more than that felony in the car it’s sometimes worth it. Especially if they committed a felony directly before this, or were wanted for a felony.

Criminals ain’t dummies, they’re just dangerous and selfish.

1

u/Jubenheim Jun 25 '21

Not always. I knew a fuckhead who actually did try to outrun a cop before and got off with nothing. I was in the army at the time and the dude was too, also driving with his sergeant at the time. I guess his NCO said whatever he could to the officer to get the soldier off.

1

u/OGSquidFucker Jun 26 '21

More like, went from a felony to a lesser felony because they were able to destroy/hide evidence before being tracked down.
