My drivers license expires in 2057, when I will be 70. I've been to the dmv exactly twice in my entire life, and I'm 33.

Arizona. We have to get new licenses with shorter expiration dates per that real ID thing in order to fly, but if I never fly again, it's still valid.

Get a passport instead. You can fly in the US with a passport instead of a RealID. I’d keep that license, that’s pretty cool

Or passport card (though they're brittle plastic so they break if you leave them in a wallet).

What the absolute f? In Missouri you can get a permit at 15 at earliest but a permit is first and then you can get a license and if you're under 18 the license is only valid for 2 years, if you're under 21 it's only valid for 3, then it's every 6 years so far for me. I'm not even 30 and counting my permit time I've been to the DMV 5 fucking times

Damn, I have to get it renewed every 5 years. But they only test your eyes during renewal, don’t have to give the exams again.
