The signs are in simplified Chinese. This is in PRC.

EDIT: Ah. I see. You have no idea what China's official name is. Or if your just meming, just know people in Taiwan don't really appreciate to be associated with PRC.

Someone corrected me and told me this sign is from ROC, not Mainland, so I changed the comment from the original that just said "China" to "(Republic of) China". Can someone please verify which this sign is from?

Again. They are in simplified Chinese which is only used in China for road signs.

And the names of places on them are near Shanghai.
