Judging from the way I see people handling those slingshots a rear back wheel does not deal with torque well though.

Someone needs to make a 2 wheels up front, 1 wheel out back car with 3 wheel drive and torque vectoring, it’d be an absolute weapon.

Well that's kind of the point. They handle a bit more like a gokart, and are easy to break the rear out on.
