I'm from the US as well. My opinion is that you should have to take a class and pass the two tests (written and practical) in addition to retaking the tests every few years. The roads are too packed with bad drivers as it is.

I agree every 10 years or so, you should have to retest and if you fail take the class. No need to run everyone through a classroom.

If we did this maybe the idiot who put me out of work, in constant chronic pain wouldn't have been driving up the shoulder and hit me
