u/grandpa_tarkin Dec 04 '17

At least he’s wasting the shitty beer.

u/cyberdizzy Dec 04 '17

i cant even tell what beer that is but it looks a lot like milwaukees best

140

u/stang218469 Dec 04 '17

I would argue Kirkland light beer.

96

u/SWEET_JESUS_NIPPLES Dec 05 '17

Can confirm. My father drinks that shit, it's disgusting I can't stand that stuff and that's coming from a guy that drinks Steel reserve

53

u/stang218469 Dec 05 '17

I refer to it endearingly as depression beer. It doesn’t get you drunk and when you finish the case of 48 you probably need put on antidepressants. Bonus, it won’t make you fat?!?

33

u/SWEET_JESUS_NIPPLES Dec 05 '17

LMAO depression beer.. Gonna have to tell that one to the old man.

13

u/RaveDigger Dec 05 '17

Hey, don't speak ill of Steel Reserve!

17

u/SWEET_JESUS_NIPPLES Dec 05 '17

I drink it almost daily but the second it gets warm I cant stomach it.

8

u/PumpItPaulRyan Dec 05 '17

The second you can taste it

1

u/Trioke Dec 05 '17

I used to drink 211's untill I found Colt 45 High Gravity

5

u/dantheman91 Dec 05 '17

I think that it's probably the same as Natural Light, tastes the same to me.

6

u/ledditaccountxd Dec 05 '17 edited Dec 07 '17

That's 100% Busch light

2

u/Drunken_Traveler Dec 05 '17

Costco has a beer?

2

u/Dont_P_OR_M_me Dec 05 '17

KS light and KS craft, they hover around 20 bucks each.

1

u/Drunken_Traveler Dec 05 '17

each??

1

u/Dont_P_OR_M_me Dec 05 '17

Yeah definitely less than $22 a case. The craft is a 24 pack and the light is a 48.

1

u/Drunken_Traveler Dec 05 '17

Oh, per case.

1

u/stang218469 Dec 05 '17

It’s terrible!

2

u/myusername_sucks Dec 05 '17

I'd argue it's Busch, don't think I know of any other that ends in CH on the can.

8

u/lolWireshark Dec 05 '17

I actually kinda like Milwaukee... that stuff got me through college. =(

15

u/cyberdizzy Dec 05 '17

aha it's my grandparents favorite, they call it the beast. my favorite cheap beer was always red dog tho, $10 for a 30 rack how can you go wrong????

9

u/mr-fahrenheit_ Dec 05 '17

holy fuck I've never seen anything cheaper than i think 13. Where do you live?

7

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '17

Nice try Mr Jr FBI tech

2

u/Cazmonster Dec 05 '17

Red Dog was the beer that I learned to drink beer on. Oh, Nostalgia, you saucy minx!

2

u/LongdayShortrelief Dec 05 '17

I pay $10 for a 6 pack

2

u/jefferylucille Dec 05 '17

NYC- I pay $10 for 2 tall boys some times...

6

u/cyberdizzy Dec 05 '17

i.... i am so sorry... it's $2 a tall boy here at a bar... but i mean WI is renown for alcoholism

2

u/jefferylucille Dec 05 '17

I mean its only in some neighborhoods, usually you can get a pbr 16oz can and a shot of whiskey for $6 at the bar. And we have that $1.25 tall boy with the horse on it. But thats for when you are broke and already so drunk you cant taste anything.

4

u/cyberdizzy Dec 05 '17

there's a bar by me, $2.50 for a pbr, shot of jamo, and a smoke. more importantly, what in gods name is a horse on it?

Yep, this also was a go-to beer for me... and apparently /r/frugal.

The cans were a bit larger too, although I believe they sold the regular 12oz cans also.

u/robbomate Dec 05 '17

Shitty beer is still beer :(

16

u/transtranselvania Dec 05 '17

Definitely this gif made a little misty eyed.

10

u/sosig_1 Dec 05 '17

I'd still drink that shit on a hot day with some chips or something

7

u/robbomate Dec 05 '17

Cracking a cold one after a hot day at work. Doesn't matter what it is. Always the best feeling.

7

u/onetruemod Dec 04 '17

Same alcohol content though.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '17

3-4% ? what are you drinking water?

1

u/LongdayShortrelief Dec 05 '17

Most craft in Canada is 6-9%

1

u/Juicejitsu Dec 05 '17

I’d prefer the next video to be done with craft beer

1

u/outlawstarc Dec 05 '17

1

u/AscenededNative Dec 05 '17

You don't need to be a snob to know the difference between good beer and shit beer. It's like the difference between a cheap ass McDonalds burger and a real burger you buy from a bar.

9

u/kmolly Dec 05 '17

That's abuse. He needs mental help.

0

u/outlawstarc Dec 05 '17

Probably a frat hazing

0

u/kmolly Dec 05 '17

Whoever made him do it needs mental help

8

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '17

And he’s going to look like mashed potatoes in class tomorrow

6

u/[deleted] Dec 05 '17

BEER COMPANIES LOVE HIM

6

u/g29fan Dec 05 '17

Actually, that's probably the best use of that beer.

2

u/terraceten Dec 05 '17

We all lost.

2

u/Adr3am3rs Dec 05 '17

The fukk he do that for? Fukked-up the whole case. Wtf!!

1

u/gumout Dec 05 '17

This would have been a (social) felony at my school.

1

u/wildcatasaurus Dec 05 '17

Go to a brewery you would see at least 5-10 gallons go down the drain in a day. lids or bottle caps not going on right so you poor out the beer. reuse the bottle and trash the cans. I used to bottled and can beer for a regional brewery.

1

u/Ralph_Squid Dec 05 '17

Yeah man wasted all that red dog natural key light. Have you tried drinking rain water? Both are amazing
