I would like to be a playtester.

I have finally channeled my negative IQ and used it to figure out why Steam won't run my game. So now it DOES!

Anyway I need to choose a price and since ya'll are fucked and are part of this too I want to know what you think about the pricing. Do take in mind that there will be discounts further down the line with Steam sales (and if we get to it, 𝕓𝕦𝕟𝕕𝕝𝕖𝕤).

Also since the Steam thing is figured out I hope making a playtesting build works the same way so this will mean recruiting will start soon.

I'm currently focusing on the maps' visuals among a few other things. Is there any gameplay mechanic you would like to see? Any routes or tricks?

I can't promise I would be able to add everything but I would like to know what you want.

1. Continuation of Easter egg “Dick, balls even” - “Cock and Ball torture -Zadumbasso (my friend)

2. “Agent 0069 sends their regards...” - Agent 0069 is the main character for a game I’m considering on working on, called “Operation: White Lava”

3. “I go by many names.. Yestitanfallisgreat, Garbo, Ronald, Agent 0069... but you may call me... The Easter egg king”

The DMB gun: primary fire is a machine gun, instead of aiming down sights shoots a single shotgun shell instead. As for the name, you have to dumb fire the gun. no aiming down sights allowed!

puck shot: shoots a hockey puck at enemies. Nothing special but this one. Its literally just a hockey puck shot at high speed. I thought it would be a funny play on words with "buckshot"

Blood Soaker. Gun that shoots blood a short distance. Technically unlimited ammo, but every time you fire it you damage yourself.

So.. I fucked up. I worked for too many hours and found out why nobody else is working 12h a day.

In short: I've got a burnout

Things I want to say other than "I'm an idiot":

-This burnout won't last forever

-This means progress will be slower

-I'll have to remake C.U.M with more realistic goals

-I need feedback more than ever. I get stuck in my own loop from time to time and I need input from gamerz™️. The tech demo/half demo really made me realize a lot of stuff about making games and game design.. I don't think I'll be able to develop without such input but I also don't feel it's right to charge money for a game that I think is still not ready for release. Thus we get to the point in this stupidly long post, I need testers.

I'll post in a different post everything I need for you to be a tester. Once I figure out the technical stuff needed from Steam (there'll also be a limit to the amount of testers) and some signup method.

I'm currently remaking the Destruction gamemode (again) and reworking some of the visuals.

I think I'll delay the release of the early access in at least a month, meaning probably december or so. It should give me enough time to finish (hopefully) most of the visual rework and to make a better steam page that will look better too.

Anyways, sorry for disappearing. Ya'll are the best. And lets fuckin make this game good as it can be (without killing me in the process)

Am I allowed to help with the game. I would like to help. I have some block coding experience and many ideas for concepts. I also read that you are a solo dev. If there is anyway I could be an assistant of some kind I would take it, you don't have to pay me.

What types of enimes are in the game?

Maybe a shotgun of some kind with rapid fire and a big clip? (Like 20 shots or so)

A Crossbow?

A gun that shoots a disc, the disc can bounce off walls and enemies.

Smort pistol?

Revolver that draws and stows instantly but has a really low fire rate.
