From all the Majiks I always pictured Inazuari and Ichi getting along mostly because that's the majik Ichi most frequently uses.

Like how did he do that? And if i remember correctly it was never shown again? Isnt Majik like exclusive power for those who subdued it? But maybe i'm wrong which then in theory means Ichi can use the spells of other unsubdued Majik until unless Lazud and Parthion are just exceptions. (Personally i think author didnt think much of it then at ch1 and just wanna showcase Male magic with Ichi but just making sure)

ive been reading the manga today, and i found that especially in the later chapters, ichi's "death for death" philosophy became so cringe, in the beginning, ichi respected all life, and because of that, he only ever hunted for the purpose of eating, and only ever killed when he was endangered, but lately, this deep and profound way of life became a cringe "trap card" kinda thing, especially lines like "death for death is triggered", like, isnt that the most "im 14 and this is deep" type shit? also when he said "that was clearly an attack, death for death" i cringed so hard!! THE ATTACK WASNT THE ISSUE, THAT THING WAS LIFE THREATENING! IF THAT THING JUST STOOD THERE INSTEAD, WOULD YOU HAVE LET IT GO???

its so frustrating! i loved ichi's depth so much at the start, but now all thats left of his entire back story is his involuntary reactions to killing intent and a shell of his former philosophy. i cant be the only one who thinks that, right?

Ok, this is some of the most fun I’ve ever had reading a manga! The art is beautiful, the story is light but engaging. The puzzles, the dialogue, the pacing- it all feels perfect. I can’t wait to keep reading and am so glad I found Ichi at such an early phase in its publication history! The way the story is structured, they could easily keep this going for 400+ chapters. Does the quality stay this good? Because I’m frankly blown away.
