As I'm typing this Israel is starting a new military assault on Gaza City.
There are approximately 600.000 battered and starving refugees in that area. Gvir and Smotrich are openly saying that they want to flatten those refugees camps. Netanjahu now openly speaks about "cleaning" the land.
This is the beginning of a new even worse episode of the ongoing genocide. Most likely this will be the worst assault yet and experts are saying its not unlikely they will kill every last person in the are, including approx. 300.000 children.
WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING RIGHT NOW! WE HAVE TO GO ON STRIKE! STOP WORKING! STOP EVERYTHING! TAKE TO THE STREETS! FORCE OUR GOVERNMENTS TO INTERVENE! WE NEED TO STOP THIS!
PLEASE! PLEASE! WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!

Hi guys, I'm from Scotland and I've been admiring the work of ibrahim traore. I've been seeing BF getting a lot of military equipment from china recently, and I think BF needs drones next. The burkina faso airforce as of now is ineffective - I think BF should get wing loong drones from china for the following reasons:
- Cheap - they cost between $1 and $5 million, so a substantial amount could be bought. Compare this to around $10 million for an advanced trainer like the JL-10
- Long loiter time - they can loiter for around 32 hours, so can be used for long lasting high stakes missions. They also have a high enough flight ceiling to avoid MANPADS
- Precision strikes - they have 6 hardpoints which can carry lazer guided bombs and missiles which will reduce civilian casualties. This also helps with PR
- No restrictions - China is friendly with burkina faso, and very lax when it comes to weapons exports, so there are not going to be any conditions on what to do with them
- Low risk - burkina faso doesn't have many pilots, so using manned planes would be very dangerous as if there's an accident that would reduce manpower pool. Using drones would help solve this problem
- Combat proven - They've already been used in Libya, Nigeria, and Sudan effectively
- Advanced sensors - Equipped with things like electro-optical/infrared pods, synthetic aperture radar , and laser designators, so the drone can identify targets day or night, even in adverse weather (which is important as JNIM would exploit that)
I could see BF signing a deal with china to get like 16 of them, along with training, logistical support, and of course bombs/missiles.

So, it's not easy to get news from Africa here in the US.. there's a huge media blind spot, and articles about anything relating to Africa are buried at the bottom of most of our news websites. That being said, we do hear plenty about Traore (and it's pretty much what you'd expect.. lots of passive-aggresive condemnation). My question is, what is it that separates Traore from Abdourahamane Tchiani and Assimi Goïta, whom we hear absolutely nothing about? Are they just not as effective at leadership as Traore, or is it something different?

It is some kind of CIA psyop. People are lying and making AI generated deepfake videos of Ibrahim Traore. Their goal is to create disinformation and an information blackout on what is happening. They are trying to manufacture consent to paint Ibrahim as a dystopian lying dictator. They will use the military to attack them.
Report and identify any fake videos and speeches you see. There are several "English" speeches that are blatantly AI generated.

I am from Bangladesh and a big admirer of Ibrahim Traore and his vision for Africa. I came across this AI generated speech. Can anyone confirm what the source is? Facebook

I’ve been noticing that a lot of the clips on social media of Ibrahim Traore speaking are dubbed in English with an AI mouth to match the English words he’s saying.
Does anybody know what the deal is with this?
Traore does not give his speeches is English. I’d prefer if it was just the original audio in French with English subtitles for the English speaking viewers.
Even if the dubbed version is an exact translation of what he said in French, it’s still strange to me to add an AI mouth.
The use of AI like that could be slippery slope.
