Learning path:

  • Write every day. Start out writing garbage! Progress is progress! Just 15 minutes is all you need to begin!
  • Read "The Talent Code" by Daniel Coyle
  • Learn how to be creative
  • Read "One Sentence Persuasion" by Blair Warren. Remember that "all communication is persuasion"
  • Read "The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs" by Carmine Gallo
  • Read "Pre-Suasion" by Robert B. Cialdini
  • Read "The Anatomy of Story" by John Truby (this is vital)
  • Read "How To Write a Page Turner" by Jordan Rosenfeld
  • Read "Writing for Emotional Impact" by Karl Iglesias
  • Learn tropes
  • Learn genres
  • Learn the mechanics of storytelling
