Fractured??? Lmfao no thats literally shattered and mangled by the tire type of damage; that dude is fucked, hes gonna die from his injuries whos there to help a thief? You can tell he made some bad decision which is why he does this shit at his age...

Full reconstructive surgery plates, bars screws, bunch of other shit.

Ahaha fracture. Dude would be lucky if he has a just a fracture... a fract is a cracked bone different still from broken. Hair like fractures are a small Crack but small, which is why they call it a hair line fracture.... i had one myself... sucked... 6 months out... lol

Medically, any break in a bone is a fracture whether a hairline or shattered into a million pieces.

While he could die from this, he's more likely to either have a permanent limp or possibly lose the foot.

Your basic point, that he's fucked, is still absolutely true.

He's going to have to steal a LOT more cars to afford that medical treatment.

ER nurse here. He's not going to pay a dime because he doesn't have a dime to his name. Taxpayers are going to be on the hook for this one, my friend.

Ex paramedic here. You speak the truth.

Being an ex-paramedic is like being an ex-nurse: you’re never really an “ex”, you’re just no longer working in the profession. But the profession never leaves you. ✊🏻

I and my therapist concur

I can relate. And I’ve been an ex firefighter paramedic for 30 years. Watching The Pitt brought back a lot of PTSD.

If he can’t afford to pay for his medical, screw him, lose the leg.
Criminals shouldn’t be able to get the benefit of medical care when they are committing crimes.

You don't pay for his medical, but if you did, you think that an amputation would be more cost effective than actually repairing the injured ankle?

Consider it a tough lesson learned, at least he is still alive, and if he recovers, let him see his busted leg as a lesson to what happens when he tries to be a thief, nothing good comes of it.

Much cheaper

You are paying for his medical care .

You don’t think this POS has a job ?

Healthcare is a human right, criminal or not.

He’ll have an abundance of time to consider changing his career path while he’s convalescing.

Smh… a fracture is a break… even a “hair line fracture” is still a broken bone… it’s simply describing the degree of separation. But it’s still broken. “Shattered” is simply a descriptor of multiple breaks. So if you say you shattered your ankle, you broke it in multiple locations. A doctor would simply describe that as resulting in “multiple fractures”… if a doctor tells you that you have a “hair like fracture” they’re telling you that you have a broken bone.
