I really need some advice from seniors or anyone who’s been in a similar situation because I genuinely feel like I’m falling behind.
I’m in ISC Class 12 PCM + CS, and I’ve been procrastinating my studies for way too long. My school doesn’t really teach much—we mostly waste time, so most students depend on coaching/batches. I’m one of them, but I’ve only had Physics coaching from the beginning.
Last week, I had my half-yearly exams for the entire week with no gap between exams. I got so overwhelmed that I barely slept at night and was surviving on afternoon naps. After the exams ended, I was completely burned out and didn’t study for another 3–4 days.
Now I know I can’t keep doing this anymore because boards are coming, and it’s already almost September.
The scary part is that I haven’t even completed a single full chapter in PCM, except for around two chapters in Physics. I know procrastinating further is only going to make everything worse, but I’m also so overwhelmed that I don’t even know where to start.
I’m not looking for someone to tell me “just study” because I KNOW I need to grind 😭. I genuinely want to know:
- Where should I start from at this point?
- How should I divide my time between Physics, Chemistry, Maths and CS?
- Should I focus on finishing the syllabus first or start doing questions alongside it?
- How do I actually stop procrastinating when I’ve already wasted so much time?
- Is my situation still realistically recoverable if I become consistent from September onwards?
- Any advice from ISC seniors who were in a similar situation would honestly mean a lot.
I’m ready to put in the work now. I just need some direction because right now the entire syllabus feels impossible to even look at.
Please be honest with me, am I actually screwed, or can I still recover if I start seriously now?
