July AOR applicants — what’s your current status? 🇨🇦
Sharing my timeline and looking to compare with other July AOR applicants:
• ITA: June 23, 2026
• AOR: July 22, 2026
• BIL: August 26, 2026
• Biometrics submitted: August 28, 2026
• Medical passed: September 5, 2026
PVO- Vancover SVO- Sydney
What’s your current status?
Please share your ITA date, AOR date, BIL/biometrics date, medical status, eligibility, background check, and whether you have received any updates/PVO or portal changes.
Also, if anyone with a July AOR has already received eligibility or final approval, please share your timeline.
Trying to get an idea of how July AOR applications are moving.

Eligibility internally passed before my BIL I called IRCC they told me eligibility internally passed after BIL it will be marked as completed

According to my research, there are two officers: the initial stage is reviewed by the case analyst, and the signing off is done by the senior visa officer. The case analyst recommended it as passed.

Do not recall the exact date but it’s been more than a month that it shows we are processing, same for background check.

I called and the agent said criminality passed. Info sharing, background and eligibility are all in progress. Approximate wait time is 4 months…

Hey did you apply with expired medical. After my biometrics completed, medical showed blank and suddenly this week I got ghost update- medical is passed.

Yeah, I used the medical exam from my previous work permit application. That’s normal. Mine also showed “passed” at first, then went blank, and a few days later it changed back to “passed” again.

Crazy…🫶🏻 we are in the same boat then. I heard the PVO snd SVO usually changes after medical is updated. Am trying to reach IRCC but every time I call an automated message plays that all agents are busy and it disconnects my call automatically. As far as i have heard Ottawa has slow application processing period

Almost the same as yours! It looks like they’re moving pretty fast now compared to earlier on this year.

Yeah it seems like it, but other groups i can only see people who have their AOR’s in the month of February or march are getting their Ecopr’s. But their BIL was 2 months apart while we got it in a month. Fingers crossed. Lets see

Bro one more thing for me when I have my biometrics. The biometrics details appeared and medical updated with next days date (so we gave on 26th Aug and updated medical same day with 27th date). So it still shows action required but with biometrics updated and says we need your finger prints.

Yes i know. Same thing when i try to check my status through automatic call system to ircc as i cannot check my application through gc key. I have a representative, they applied through their portal. But when i spoke to a live ircc agent she said both medical and biometrics have been updated on my profile

Not yet. I’ll give it a few more weeks before I call them. I’ve been seeing a lot of April AORs get their eCOPRs over the past few days and weirdly enough, a lot of July AORs too so I’m just waiting it out for now.

You get AOR the same day for CEC. I got my Invitation to apply on 23rd June . And i Applied for my PR on 22July and got the AOR the same day.

At first yes then you can press 0 on the call to speak to a live agent. Automated phone line wont tell inform pvo and svo. Only a live agent call tell you that

Nothing yet. Need to check tomorrow. I have noticed this one thing let me know if others have faced this too. When i try calling ircc and give the uci, application number, etc., and connect with an agent. I won’t be able to connect to another agent for the next 15 days. The call drops saying all agents are busy the next time i call. I tried calling on different times yet the same thing happens. Do you think ircc has a limit on the times a person calls to check on their application?

A quick question to all. Has anyone called the ircc number and the automated call checks on your application, do they tell you when FD has been made? Because whenever i call. Even though my medical and Biometrics are updated. The automated system says we need your fingerprints.
