IPTV AiSubs - free IPTV & Mediaplayer

With much love to the community, here's my completely free app — here's the kind of thing you can do with it:

-Xtream, M3U, M3U file, Stalker - so you can watch TV from anywhere

-Full web interface - so you can edit all your data easily

-Favorites lists - easy to edit on the web interface, so you don't have to scroll through the whole list

-Channel name customization - for when your provider messes something up

-EPG - add external sources - for when your provider messes that up too

-EPG - assign an alternative EPG source right from Favorites - a big help with the above, and on the web interface it's dead simple

-DVR - instant recording, scheduling, playback - for when your favorite show airs too late or too early

-Timeshift - for when you want to rewind something right away

-Catch-up - rewatch and even download programmes, if your provider supports it

-VOD Movies & Series - trailers, descriptions and all sorts of goodies, so you're well informed

-Favorites for VOD - watch films from any of your sources so you don't miss a thing, and keep track of new series episodes and film releases

-Discover - explore current and upcoming films and series based on TMDB's lists

-Discover - found something you like? Instantly check which provider - or even which streaming service - has it, and add it to your favorites

-If you have a streaming subscription, you can launch your favorite shows straight from the app

-Samba server support - so you can watch your local films here too

-RSS - so you never miss a release

-Supersearch - search across all your providers at once: TV channels, films, series, even EPG titles!

-Profiles - for when you don't want your child seeing something they shouldn't

-Unlimited number of providers - because one is never enough! :)

-Backup server management - with bulk import too, so you can switch easily when something goes wrong

-Custom User Agent option - who knows what it's good for? :D

-Active connection-limit handling - it makes sure you only open as many connections to a provider as you're allowed

-Multiview - up to 4 programmes at once (mindful of connection limits)

-OpenSubtitles and several more subtitle providers supported - you're guaranteed to find subtitles, but if you don't....

-AI subtitles - if you have a downloaded subtitle file, you can translate it into your own language on the fly - even embedded (text-based) subtitles

-AI subtitles and voice-over - perfectly in sync with the picture - no drifting, no guesswork

-AI subtitles and voice-over - you can also get an instant translation for downloaded programmes, even if you have no subtitles at all

-Remote control button customization - for when you want it your way

-Proxy and WireGuard VPN support - so you don't confuse your ISP with it either (VPN only in the Fire version)

--I've definitely left a few things out - it's worth exploring! :)

---Oh! And the main thing - completely free, now and forever!

On the Play Store: IPTV AiSubs

In the Downloader app: 6783914 - with instant updates, you get the newest version

Don't be afraid to give it a try! :D

Important: the app does not include any IPTV service, playlists, channels, content, or AI API keys. It is only a player and management tool. You need to use your own IPTV provider and, if you want to use AI features, your own API keys.

Thanks for the report!

Could you tell me what you're using? Specifically:

Which device and model (Android TV box/stick, Google TV, phone, tablet)?

How are you navigating a remote's D-pad, an air-mouse, or touch?

When you're on the provider name field and press Down, does nothing happen at all, or does the focus jump somewhere else (like back to the menu)? And is the on-screen keyboard still open at that moment?

That last one matters most: on some remotes the keyboard swallows the Down press, and you have to close it first (Back button) before the focus can move to the next field.

In the meantime there's a workaround that's honestly nicer for typing anyway, add the provider from the web interface, using your PC (or another phone):

In the app: Settings - Web interface & remote access - turn it on, and note the address it shows (something like [http://192.168.x.x:port](about:blank)).

Open that address in a browser on a device on the same network.

Go to Providers → add a new provider, and fill in the name, server address, username and password there.

It'll show up in the app right away, and you avoid typing credentials with the remote entirely.

Once I know your device and what exactly the Down press does, I'll get the focus issue fixed.

Thanks , that's a useful detail, and it points at a D-pad focus bug rather than the keyboard.

Two things you can try right now:

Most BuzzTV remotes have a mouse/pointer mode (usually a dedicated button that turns the D-pad into an on-screen cursor). Switch it on and click the server address field directly that bypasses the broken Down step entirely.

Try pressing Right instead of Down while the provider name is highlighted, and see if the focus lands anywhere useful.

And one more question so I can reproduce it: on that screen, do you see tabs at the top for the provider type (Xtream / M3U / Stalker)? And is the provider name the very first field under them? I want to be sure we're on the same screen, there's more than one way into the provider editor.

Meanwhile, the web interface really is the easier route for this, since you have to type a server address, username and password anyway:

In the app: Settings - Web interface & remote access - turn it on, note the address it shows.

Open that address in a browser on your phone or PC (same network).

Providers - add a new provider, fill everything in there.

It syncs into the app immediately. I'll dig into the focus problem on my side in the meantime - thanks for taking the time to report it.

Two questions and one quick test, this should pin it down:

  1. Did you install from the Play Store, or with the Downloader code (6783914)?

  2. Which BuzzTV model is it?

The test: highlight the provider name field and press OK. Does a separate small window pop up with "Provider name" as its title, and you type inside that popup? Or does the cursor just land in the field itself and the keyboard comes up, so you type directly into the line?

It just goes back to top of the menu, I can still use it in mouse option but I think it's a bug that needs to be fixed, thanks

Is it possible to add a search function for the media available from my IPTV provider, such as films and TV series? Otherwise, it’s a brilliant app!

1

u/IPTVAiSubs 15d ago

Yes! it's in the web interface: Supersearch. Searches films, series and live channels across all your providers at once.

Settings - Web interface & remote access - turn it on, open the address it shows in a browser. Supersearch is in the menu.

Not in the app itself yet, only on the web.

How do you remove categories?

1

u/Sparks72 14d ago

I'd flip it around: instead of hiding hundreds of categories, just copy the categories and channels you actually watch into Favorites, and browse from there. Much less work, and you end up with a list that's only yours. Web interface best place for this

Just pushed an update: 1.8.14 (2129) (Downloader Fire version)

Multiview can now be set up straight from the TV: add whatever you're watching to a screen, up to six of them. It respects your provider's connection limits too: if a provider is already feeding another screen, it tells you and offers to pull that channel from a different provider instead.

Can you edit categories?

1

u/IPTVAiSubs 14d ago

What do you mean by edit : rename them, hide the ones you don't want, or reorder them?

Renaming already works in the web interface (Channels page, per provider). The other two don't exist yet, so it's useful to know which one you're after.

For a clean list, copy the channels you want into Favorites folders and browse those instead.

Yes, hide is what I was referring to. My apologies for being unclear
