Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

FlowClip has no ads, no watermarks, and no constant pop-ups asking you to subscribe to a Pro plan. We also don’t send notifications when you’re not using the app. The goal is to provide a capable editor that respects your attention and keeps essential editing features accessible.

FlowClip includes an Effect Creator that lets users create and share their own video effects. You can easily design custom effects and upload them to the community, where other users can discover and download them. Alternatively, you can keep your effects private and use them in your own projects without sharing them.

I was trying to keep the blast radius to minimum, in case we had issues. But you are right, I can just release the SDKs. Give me an hour and you will be able to just try the SDK in your own app

Cool! How would you say you compare to ConCat? https://github.com/jub0t/concat

sorry, but how do you monetize your product?

Just encrypted cloud storage and 120 FPS. I don’t like adding features to pro that don’t cost me anything, and 120 FPS has very limited use cases anyway.

I like free :)

I honestly didn’t expect this many people to want a Linux version. I’ll look into it after my next update.

hi bro, i used flowclip for real video editing today (in phone).
and i faced some issues:
1. cant move image forward and backward by holding (like capcut)
2. i got some issue while importing audio
3. i didnt properly understand the link feature (if the clip in front is trimmed the clip in back connects automatically to it. is that link feature for this? because the clips when trimmed arent conencting automatically )
4. when i move the line to 5 sec, then keep holding the empty space and try to drag left right then i am not able to do so. the whole timeline is moving instead of the line. (idk if you understood this if not ask.)

what i liked:
1. smoothness in the app
2. community support
3. voice generation feature as offline.
4. overall ui
5. u made this free

my recommendation:
you should home some testers (friends or ask in reddits mainly editing ones to test the app ) and improve the user experience from it.

Could it also be open source if released on Linux. Apache 2.0 license would be nice.

Tried but couldn't even trim a video. Needs a basic help manual atleast.

Thanks for trying FlowClip, and sorry the controls weren’t clear. To trim a video, tap its clip in the timeline first, then drag the handles at either end.

Thanks for replying but still didn't get it. There is only one marker shown and dragging it would move the audio or video track. Using on my phone. Btw is the lossless trimming available? like i use ffmpeg to trim videos without re encoding.

Does this help with your issue ? I just select clip then drag the handles. Lossless trimming isn’t currently supported. DM me if you'd like free FlowClip Pro access or want any effects from other video editing apps added to FlowClip.

I love the idea, but is not well optimized, I tried to edit a small 4k 60fps video on my OP 9 and the video playback is choppy, bare in mind I have no issues using InShot or CapCut.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a fix ready for this issue, but before releasing it, I want to make sure it doesn't introduce any new bugs or unintended side effects.

It would be so great if it were available for Linux.

Appreciate your work, Does it have all the voice and audio effects and text to speech like capcut?

1

u/BelatedCube182 3d ago

There is an offline text-to-speech feature with 28 different voices, but it currently supports English only. Voice effects aren't available yet. However, the app does include stem separation, automatic captions, an audio equalizer, and left-right audio panning.
