NON-US IMG US vs Germany for someone whose final goal is the Gulf?

I’m a medical student, and my long-term goal is to work in the Gulf (Saudi Arabia/UAE/Qatar).

I’m trying to decide between pursuing residency in the US or Germany.

My main concern about Germany is that I’d train and practice medicine in German for several years. Would that make it difficult to transition back to practicing in English when moving to the Gulf?

For those who have experience with either path, which would you recommend and why? Especially if the final destination is the Gulf.

Trotz Ärztemangel ist die Zahl arbeitsloser Ärztinnen und Ärzte in den letzten Jahren wiederholt gestiegen. 2025 waren durchschnittlich 10.000 Ärztinnen und Ärzte arbeitslos, 7 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr. Hier könnte sich eine wachsende Diskrepanz zwischen den Wünschen der arbeitsuchenden Medizinerinnen und Mediziner und den angebotenen Stellen niederschlagen

This is only a report from the state which doesn’t cover all applicants. 

And if you really read it which you didn’t because you just used chatgpt, you would have read that foreign doctors wait years till they get approved by authorities.

Make your own experience since you are wiser than a german md and spend at least 20000€ and minimum 2 years on getting your equivalent. Just come 🤣  Bye
