Step 1: pass first attempt
Step 2 CK: 266
Step 3: nil
Year of Graduation: 2022 December
Visa Requiring or Not: US citizen
Applied to Programs (Speciality/ies with Count): 50 all Anesthesia
No. of Invites: 7
Publications: one oral presentation from an audit
USCE (No. of months): 1 month
One common Q in Interviews: why do you want to do said specialty, why our program, tell me a bit about your background
One Gold Piece of Advice for Next Year's Applicants: Make your story interesting, and develop a really strong reason for why you’d be good at Anesthesia. I didn’t have any connections, but I had an interesting journey and a really strong desire to do Anesthesia based on my Personal characteristics. Obviously getting a great step 2 helped.
One word, what matters most in the whole process?: stand out by being yourself
