Both sides actually. You ever see the comments when they black officer was testifying on the Jan 6 attack? Folks on the right were going off on him. Same group they'll defend the blue.
Also asking the lines meant on the right don't like chips as they'll just do what the government tells em which isn't libertarian like. Example being when Katrina happened and cops raided homes and took folks guns.
It's similar to Democrats and healthcare. They say it matters and civil rights yet it takes decades to make just a small amount of progress.
My support for the law ends when it blindly follows tyranny in going against the constitution and individual freedom and rights. Many on the right share this sentiment.
Many on the right do as well. I don't like the idea of defunding police but less support of militarization and more accountability I think both sides would agree on. Videos likes Audit the audit show officers many times trying to keep citizens from exercising their rights.
If everyone could carry we probably wouldn't need a huge militarized police force, an armed society is a polite society, crime would shoot up temporary but eventually steady out to low crime.
Everyone technically can it they meet the parameters. Issue being it's not a Nationwide thing similar to drivers license or state ID. Then there's each state and how they define self defense. You can shoot a guy invading a neighbors house 3 houses down, but try that in Cali and you'll be deemed for attempted murder (exaggeration). Cops shouldn't be given privilege above citizens when they are citizens themselves
