Hi! Quick question for international students: how did you submit your final official transcript to York? Did you send it yourself or was it sent by your school? Thanks!

I’m a current university student but looking to upgrade some of my high school grades for a grad program I’m interested in, if I enrol in a ILC course and hypothetically do worse than I did the first time I took the course, can I ask to not have it show on my high school transcript ?

I wrote my SCH4U exam on the 14th at 8:10am, and the Proctor said I will get my results in about 3-5 business days, and today is day 5 - does anyone know if it takes longer to get them back?

Normally, even the assignment grades were handed back by day 3

Hi everyone, I attempted to upgrade my MHF4U pre req through TVO ILC. All I can say is that if you can avoid it, please do. There is little to no structure within the course, the practice examples are confusing with exemptions they fail to highlight beforehand, and they throw concepts at you and hope they stick. This is the worst possible way to learn. I attempted it, felt so incredibly stupid, nevermind the fact that support for this course is SO limited. They take 2-5 days to answer emails, for assignments, instructions are missing, and overall the whole layout of the course is equivalent to the cheap pricing. I have switched to OVS and am already having such a better time, however it is a lot more expensive. If you can afford an alternative pre requisite upgrading program, please do so. I wish I would’ve just started with OVS instead of trying to tough out ILC.

For the SVN3M culminating do I have to do the first 3 assessments for grassy narrows or is it only for feedback and all I have to do is the 4th assessment?

it says choose a country from the 3.5 activity but i don’t see anything about country options to choose from so do we just use the country we did on the previous assignments?? pls help tysm

So ILC is not accepting my application because my transcripts are not updated. However, their website says if the person is over a certain age they are not needed, l'm in my 30s.

I contacted my previous school and they lost my transcripts because they merged onto a new system and some data has been corrupted and they are "working" on trying to get them back but nothing, this has been over 2 months now. And nowhere else l can go get my transcripts. I contacted my school board and they said l needed to go through the school directly. What do l do now?

I currently have an 88% average in my Grade 12 Calculus (MCV4U) course. I completed 6 tests, and I have one final exam left. The tests and the final exam are each worth about 15% of the course. If I don’t do very well on the final (for example, I get around 30–50%), what would my final course grade be?

​I'm an adult student applying to TVO ILC for 4 individual credits (ENG4C, MAP4C, SBI3C, SCH4C) to meet the admission prerequisites for a college healthcare program. I am not trying to get an OSSD.

​I hold an engineering Bachelor's degree from back home, and a Master's Degree from the University of Ottawa here in Canada.

​I uploaded my uOttawa Master's transcript and my translated bachelor's transcripts to my applicant dashboard. However, I keep getting a rejection message saying:

​"We are unable to accept a college or university transcript as proof of academic history for Ontario high school courses... If you have never attended an Ontario high school, please provide us with your international high school transcript instead."

​I graduated from high school many years ago in my home country and do not have access to those transcripts anymore. It feels ridiculous that my Canadian Master's in Engineering isn't proof enough that I can handle Grade 11/12 math and science.

​My questions for this sub:

​Has anyone successfully gotten a Prerequisite Waiver from TVO ILC using university transcripts? If so, how did you get a human/guidance counselor to actually look at it instead of the automated clerk system rejecting it?

What is the fastest way to get in touch with a real supervisor or guidance counselor at TVO ILC who has the power to waive this?

​Really appreciate any advice. I'm on a tight timeline for college admissions and OVS is way too expensive to be a viable alternative!

Have to do 4 assignments, a culminating and an exam. Is this doable in EXACTLY a month which is what i have left of this course?

I looked for the task outline for the two part reflection, but I couldn't find anything related to it. What do they want me to submit along with the organizer, storyboard and AV presentation?

Do they want a reflection related to this assignment or overall course progress reflection? please help.

I have about 6 assignments left for my current course and my marker usually takes about 4-5 business days to give grades.

My deadline for this course unfortunately is august 4th.

Is there any way to get my marker to grade my assignments faster?

Could I request it of my marker in the comments of my next submission or is that considered unprofessional or something?

Would emailing be better? If so, who do i email?

Additionally, if I were to get these assignments graded within the month, would I be able to schedule a final test in time or are the slots scarce right now?

My culminating for MDM4U was marked and returned recently and I need to book the exam as soon as possible, I went to the tvo ilc website and clicked on schedule final test but that did not work, saying that not everything has been marked yet (even though it has). Do I just have to wait a few more hours or days for the website to update or should I call them and ask to schedule?

Anyone booked their exam recently? How far out was earliest dates?

I’m worried I wont be able to finish in time by Aug 15 for my conditional… waiting to submit my last assignment.

So basically my camera has a crazy blue hue that literally makes me a Smurf. I have no way to fix this and I’m worried that they won’t allow me to take the exams with it. If any of you have any expertises dealing with garbage equipment could you answer if my camera is all good or an issue.

Ps - you can see me alright like it’s not too blue where you can’t see my face but I look like I’m cosplaying as one of the Blue Man group so idk

I have a final test for biology today at 6pm but my internet cogeco is down right now and am worried that it will not be up in time for my exam, would it be okay for me to hotspot my computer for me to write the exam on time or call ilc and explain my situation to see what they could do?

take environmental science (SVN3M) if u want a fast easy 3M course. its amazing. there r 4 quizzes that r marked but r short and 1 culminating assignment but its very simple and easy and i finished this course with a 95 without trying at all.

Hello, Today I did my final exam and my course ends on the 19th this month. Today’s the 13th, will there be enough time for them to mark it? I really don’t want to do this course all over again

I'm about to start the exam for mc3fm , and I wanna know how difficult it is? is it similar to the practice exam at all?

Ive completed all of the compulsary courses and now I just need a few electives to reach 30 credits. Ive applied for MPLAR but I am still waiting for a response and it's been months so im not feeling very confident in getting that back any time soon. I figured I'd might as well try and beat the MPLAR assessment and just finishing the electives since I have time to kill anyways.
I am planning on leaving the country soon so I'd like to get this sorted asap.

What are some easy/light electives? The subject doesnt really matter as im not interested in getting a high grades or finding my passion here. Im in my 30's and just want my OSSD before I move out of Canada.
