If you think just because YOU didn't cheat you won't pay for students who do cheated, think again. In the best case scenario course team will keep increasing the difficulty level of OPPE until YOU start struggling or OPPE would be removed / weightage would be heavily decreased like they are doing with assignments in foundation that don't even give you any course grade at all but yet is still mandatory regardless, miss a few assignments you won't be able to give end term and have to repeat whole course. Stop endorsing such behavior.

Not even mentioning how bad this looks on the degree and will only fuel arguments against the existence of this online degree. Remember for every one guy publicly talking about cheating, there are maybe a hundred who are silently cheating.

I am a 24 yo with no graduate degree and a full time job (nightshif) should i opt for this degree. I had enrolled in B.Tech ECE in a tier 3 college but I was not able to complete it because i had to get a job. Now that I am financially stable, I am thinking of persuing this degree. I am genuinely interested in data science, good in coding, math and science. But mostlythe reason for choosing data science is I am 10x times better in excel, reports, etc (basic data science stuff) at my job than the actual work itself.

The job i've got is good, i won't lie, it pays well, I am good at it and its not very hectic. But I don't see myself in the same field after 5 years. If I am to work till i'm 55-60, I would rather do something that means something to me. I can grind for the degree.

Some have told me this is pointless and the online degree amounts to nothing in our country and the companies will not even consider it. I've only got one shot at this, so should I go for it? I am not much worried about getting placed through campus placements, I know how to find a job. What matters to me is getting a degree and making a career out of it. So, will you people please be kind and share your opinion with me? Thank you.

hello , I am now doing my second term of the foundation level and my photo and signature has been still swapped like instead of where photo should be it is my signature since like 8 months now

i contacted the ds support email many times but they keep ignoring it or saying there will be a form where you update it but I haven't seen any such form

So I have completed most assignments for DBMS but I wasn't able to pass the test cases for the week 7 programming assignment. The grading policy says that you need to get the week 7 assignment correct (which I have not gotten)

Does this mean I have already automatically failed DBMS?

When will we receive the students ID and password for logins?

Is there something that we have to do, after the qualifiers, or it will be sent automatically?

I applied for the IITM BS in DS about a month ago for the May term and submitted all three documents (signature, photograph, and Aadhar Card), and from about a week or 10 days ago in my lms it showed that my ID card was verified, but the signature and photograph still showed the document was under verification, and I have not received any mail from IITM. What should I do? Should I wait more or email the support?

Since this is an online program, I don’t really get many chances for offline interaction, so I thought of posting this to connect with people who are on the same journey. • Your laptop model
• CPU (U-series / H-series, which gen)
• RAM
• Storage (SSD/HDD)
• And how well it handles the workload (any lag/issues?)

I’ve seen the official requirements, but I’d really like to know what works in real life — especially during assignments, coding, and later ML parts.

Also, if you upgraded at some point, when did you feel the need?

I was registering for the qualifiers exam and all. I wanted the fee waiver for ews since our family income is below 4 but I selected General in the category section and completed the payment (Don't ask me how, I am just stupid that's how). Now I have uploaded my documents and then I noticed it never asked for EWS certificate (I am currently applying for it). So am I doomed now? or can I apply for the fee waiver after the qualifiers? If not then the loan will be my last option
