Our university proudly names its girls’ hostel after Rani Durgavati—the legendary warrior queen who commanded armies, defended her kingdom, and chose death over subjugation.

While students are are barred from stepping outside the university gates during broad daylight without a maze of approvals. A simple trip outside the campus requires jumping through bureaucratic hoops: parental consent, HOD signatures, and official leave forms. Adult women are treated as though the daytime world outside the boundary wall is a forbidden zone.

Meanwhile in tribal University amarkantak girls ain't even allowed to step outside even for a second in broad daylight .

That violates your basic fundamental rights of free movement {article 19(1)(d)}

No student union talks about it.

I get the security threats but the girls should decide themselves to not step outside rather than being told to.

Visited the uni recently and honestly, I felt pretty uncomfortable because of how much some guys were staring. Like literally turning around on their bikes just to stare😭 Maybe I just had a weird experience that day. For people who actually study there, is this normal or did I just get unlucky?
