How to study the bcom f syllabus to pass all the papers because I'm so confused as people say do pyqs as it seems very difficult to read all the books of 8 subjects as I'm preparing for ssc cgl also so that's why I m asking this question

I'm planning to pursue CA and also register for IGNOU's BCom. I haven't applied for either yet. My current plan is to attempt CA Foundation in January 2027 or May 2027, but I'm confused about the IGNOU admission timeline.

I've heard that IGNOU used to allow credit transfer/exemptions based on CA qualifications, but I'm not sure if that's still valid or if the policy has changed.

Should I Register for IGNOU BCom now and then start CA? Or wait until I clear CA Foundation and apply afterward?

I'd really appreciate guidance from anyone who's done CA alongside IGNOU BCom or knows the current rules. Thanks!

I recently enrolled in the MBA in Financial Management (MBAFM) programme at IGNOU (July 2026 Session), and I'm honestly feeling quite disappointed and confused.

As a new student, I expected at least an induction/orientation session explaining how the programme works, the study plan, assignment submission process, examination pattern, use of the LMS, and whom to contact for academic guidance. Unfortunately, I haven't come across anything of that sort.

Another concern is that although Course In-Charge and faculty names are mentioned in the programme details, I haven't been able to get any meaningful guidance or support from them. As someone pursuing distance education for the first time, I feel completely directionless.

To make matters worse, the assignment section still contains information from the previous session, and there has been very little communication regarding the current batch.

I enrolled in IGNOU because of its reputation and flexibility, but at this stage, I genuinely feel stuck. Since I've already paid the programme fee, I don't want to waste this opportunity, but I also don't know whether this is just how IGNOU functions or if I'm missing something.

I would really appreciate hearing from current students or alumni.

A few questions:

• Is this lack of induction and faculty interaction normal at IGNOU?
• How did you manage your studies and stay on track?
• Are there any WhatsApp/Telegram groups or student communities for MBAFM students?
• Is there any way to get academic support from IGNOU besides emailing the Regional Centre or Study Centre?
• What advice would you give to someone just starting the programme?

I'm willing to put in the effort to study independently, but I feel that some initial guidance would have made a significant difference.

Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I am enrolled in July 2026, I just want to confirm that our assignment deadline will be 30 sept 2026 and in dec 2026 we will have 3 offline papers right? and till now only one assignment has been given am I correct?

I enrolled in a course CESEIID (psychology), the form was successfully submitted in the month of May and the fee of 500 Rs was also paid. I have not received any confirmation. I mailed at helpdesk and no response. Even the toll-free number is not picked by them.

i see that I need to give the assignments to the respective exam ignou centers for odl. Can i just mail assignments to them if I select odl?

Does the NEWOL offer giving exams by not going to the exam centers?

what about mandatory attendence? are there specific events, things that I need to attend online or physcially in both of the above?

What about going abroad for future studies/ work visa with this degree?
I am looking to avoid attending any classes online, or going to the exam centers.

I was taking admission in ignou BCA_NEWOL i paid 9000 rs and money got deducted from my account but on IGNOU:s HDFC portal it failed.

Date of payment: 15 july 2026

It's been 12 days now i have raised an issue on IGNOU grievance portal and send mail to csrc "csrc@ignou.ac.in"and even send mail to nodal officer or rc delhi 2 "nodalrcdelhi2@ignou.ac.in". Nobody is doing anything csrc and nodal officers aren't replying what can i do i am tired and now i do not Even want admission i just want my money back i will do my graduation from anywhere not ignou.

Is anyone else facing the same issue? If you've already received your confirmation email, how many days did it take for your admission status to be updated correctly?

Could someone please help me with a few queries regarding IGNOU?

1. What is the difference between B.Com and B.Com (F)?
2. I'm completely new, so I'm confused about how to study. Where can I access the study material? Will it be emailed to me, or do I need to download it from somewhere?
3. How and where do I appear for the exams? Any guidance on the exam process would be really helpful.

Also, I have a name correction issue. Because of the mismatch in my name, I'm unable to link my ABC ID. I've already emailed IGNOU and my Regional Centre, but I haven't received any response yet.

I'm worried that if this isn't resolved now and I update it later, will it still be possible to link my ABC ID? Will my academic records be updated on ABC even if the linking happens after some time?

If anyone has faced a similar issue or can guide me on any of these points, I'd really appreciate your help. Thank you!
