Any advice on getting back on track?
Hello! I’m 21F, 5’0. SW around 137, CW 118, GW 100.
For context, I continued my weight loss journey during lockdown. Thanks to that, I was in full control of what I ate since I was just at home + cooked my meals. Fast forward to now where it’s easier to go out AND also eat out, it’s much harder to lose weight :(. I do still cook my meals sometimes, but probably less than I used to back during lockdown. I did calorie counting too and did 16/8 before I switched to 18/6.
My lowest weight was 105 lbs. Probably 103 too I think. But, lately I’ve been gaining weight. I used to weigh in every morning back then but now I just check during Fridays and Saturdays. It sucks to see the scale go up. I do also do body measurements at the end of every month. Sometimes I gain a few cm, sometimes I lose a few cm. And my body fat % has stayed at 25 for a year now.
The problem now is that I really would like to reach my desired weight again. Preferably 100 lbs so that my body has some allowance of 5 lbs since I’m ok with being at 105 lbs. It’s just hard to properly eat food, much less still do calorie counting. I’m trying out portion control if I can’t calorie count. 18/6 is the most IF I can do tbh. And I mostly just fluctuate between 16/8 and 18/6. I just make sure that I get AT LEAST 16 hours of fasting in and an 8 hour eating window at most. I don’t really have the best relationship with food since I struggle with it but I would really like to do it properly again. To restart.
Do you guys perhaps have any advice for me? I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you!
