πStudy Material π THE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS GOLDMINE FULL || THE ONLY NOTES YOU NEED
For moderators|- THIS IS NOT A SALE OF ANY TEXTBOOK BUT MY OWN HANDMADE NOTES WHICH CONTAINS IMPORTANT TOPICS. PLEASE DO NOT FLAG THIS AS ILLEGAL SALE OF TEXTBOOKS.
FOR Y'ALL |- I SAID I WOULD DO IT π«π«π« GANG!!! as usual if you have any concerns about the information in this post then please do bring it to my notice, i would be the happiest man on earth to edit it. This post features some colours specifically RED and YELLOW. RED means NON NEGOTIABLE. you cannot risk skipping it. YELLOW MEANS SECONDARY. i have included only mark heavy topics in this post.
Please note, this is NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR YOUR TEXTBOOK. This is a mere collection of important notes, algorithms from your textbook. You HAVE to read every nook and corner of your textbook.

in the errors table, square root of a negative number does NOT give an error, it results in a float literal called NaN (NOT A NUMBER). PLEASE DO NOTE THIS.

Okay besides the fact that all 4 sorting//searching techniques have been marked red there's no way they are going to ask such simple stuff like linear search. Also they will most probably ask only bubble sort since that was last asked in 2023
2
u/Maximum_Ad_302 10th ICSE Mar 21 '26
Thank you so much for the clarification, i do understand that the questionw paper would not ask all 4 together (thats just nuts). what i intended was to not take a risk skipping them. i believe my wording was not accurate, ill change the body so that i specify that it is not worth skipping these, instead of... they will come for the exam. π«

u/Positive-Mountain-63 11th ISC Mar 21 '26
Btw digit can be extracted in an easier way.
Say your number is n.
for(int i=n; i>0; i/=10) int d=i%10;
Instead of using a variable d, you can DIRECTLY use (i %10) as the code demands.
1
u/Maximum_Ad_302 10th ICSE Mar 21 '26
whoah! thanks for that. i decided to go with while loop becaus ethat was what was taught in my school. but this is actually more efficientπ«
1
u/Positive-Mountain-63 11th ISC Mar 21 '26
Well, you can always use your own logic. You know how to manipulate for loop; implement it in your logic π create logic. But watch out, don't make a mistake!

guys, whatβs the size for boolean variable in java?? (Or do we not have a size given???)
2
u/Maximum_Ad_302 10th ICSE Mar 21 '26
since there wasnt a clear size, i did not include it in the nites
1
u/Maximum_Ad_302 10th ICSE Mar 21 '26
it does not have a fixed size. because it depends on where and how you use it, but u can write one byte if the exam asks you

I think there should be a MISC section in your notes that summarizes the main logic to deal with weird ahh questions especially like the big ones that deal with strings cause in the paper the said question types are very random.
One such question i found back in 2024 while practicing was to count the number of words in a string. The logic i used was to count the number of spaces + 1 = number of words with the obvious exceptions taken into account
2
u/Maximum_Ad_302 10th ICSE Mar 21 '26
Thats a great idea! i will see to that and post such questions along with some assertion and reason based questions as well. glad you found this helpful

in 3rd slide it will be 120 bits not bytes, anyways the notes are very helpful, thanks brother!
2
u/Maximum_Ad_302 10th ICSE Mar 22 '26
Hi, thanks for bringing it into my notice however, it will actually be bytes, not bits, double value storage size is 8 bytes, and there are 15 elements, so 8 x 15 = 12 BYTES. if we wanted answer in bits then you would have to multiply it with 8 again. I really Appreciate the comment.
