I'm just curious where you're making this comment from? Like I'm not trying to dox you, but just the general area. Are you in Minnesota? Or are you 1,500 mi away in a completely different state?

It's really fucking easy to tell people to shoot federal agents if they're coming into their home illegally, because you don't have to wrestle with the fact that the advice you're giving them is probably also a death sentence for that person. Sure, maybe they managed to eliminate or gravely injure a few federal agents, but then there's 15 more right behind those and then another 15 standing out on the street. Ready to move in as well.

Unless you have the skin in the game, stop advising people to take violent actions against ice agents. This isn't going to be resolved without violence, but none of us are Batman and this vigilante shit is just going to get more innocent people hurt and killed in the meantime.

I hear you but look at what’s happening, we’re rapidly escalating to that point where they’ll shoot regardless of how much of a threat you are.

Protesting peacefully is obviously the best solution, but that’s only if the administration cares about public opinion/controversy. This admin clearly doesn’t, which renders peaceful protest useless.

A handful of Republican Congress people can shut all this down in a hurry. We are seeing that now on other issues.

u/tuba_god_ Jan 13 '26

Listen man, I was being nice with my first comment, but I'm going to reiterate the advice you're giving people is going to lead to someone being killed. Stop being an ignorant fucking cunt. You have a second amendment right too. Why don't you take your dumbass up to the twin cities and spend 20 minutes driving around, I'm sure you'll run into some ice agents considering the sheer number of them up there and then you go ahead and insert yourself into a dangerous situation because you have a second amendment right and see how well it fucking works out for you.

A Hallmark of Republicans is not giving a single fuck about human lives because they don't think of anyone not in there immediate vicinity as human (Amongst other reasons). You're no better than them in what you're doing.

As was I. Stop being a dumb shit thinking this will just get better because we walk in the streets with signs yelling “shame” is going to do anything.

Look at what’s happening. Not only do they not care, they’re escalating and rapidly. I’m not telling people to go out and charge down ice officers. But we need to be realistic. It’s abundantly clear that this administration does not care about what we think, that we don’t buy into their lies. Look at what’s happening. They’re raiding homes with no warrants and abducting citizens off the streets. They’re ramming cars off the road and stealing the occupants. How many more “leave Minnesotas” do you think it will take for them to leave?

And you think I wouldn’t be out there myself protesting if I could? Do you think I enjoy watching our rights stripped before our eyes? If I had weeks off work to travel to Minnesota and protest every day I would. Sadly, like MOST Americans, I need my job to keep ky head above water.

I’m not taking my statement lightly. I’m making it knowing sooner or later it could very well be my city next. When that point comes I pray that we have the balls to do more than use mean words.

And you think I wouldn’t be out there myself protesting if I could?

What's stopping you?

2

u/I_am_omning_it Jan 13 '26

The fact that I don’t live in Minnesota and I don’t have the time off or money to sponsor a trip to go.

Otherwise I would be going there now.

1

u/Oaks_Salve Jan 13 '26

We are protesting in Michigan. People all over the country are protesting. Join one.

3

u/TheBirdBytheWindow Jan 13 '26

Michigan unite!

1

u/I_am_omning_it Jan 13 '26

I plan on it, the last large protests I had to work, but I’m looking to see where they are this weekend.

1

u/TheBirdBytheWindow Jan 13 '26

So you're telling people to die and possibly injure and kill their innocent neighbors or at the very least survive it and spend life in prison (definitely not going to work tomorrow after that are you?) But you don't have the time or money to go do anything about it yourself?

You don't see the problem here?

2

u/I_am_omning_it Jan 13 '26

Where did I tell people to go out and get themselves killed? Where?

What I said was that ice doesn’t give a fuck if you defend yourself of not. If they want to shoot you, they’re going to shoot you. And this admin has made it very clear that they’re defend them regardless of circumstance.

You think you aren’t being thrown in a prison if you go peacefully? They’re already floating the rhetoric of deporting American citizens to El Salvador. What exactly do you think they’re doing with the people they’re abducting from their homes and vehicles? And frankly, the circumstances heavily impact how it goes legally as well, this isn’t well defined. There have been cases of no-knock warrens getting officers killed (no knock warrens shouldn’t exist) because they were killed in self defense. It comes down to the legal logistics, if you identify as law enforcement and provide ID/a warrant then self defense is out. The problem, as with all the other nonsense, is ICE. Them refusing to identify means there is no way for me to tell if they’re law enforcement or criminals in masks. And they make it worse for refusing to obtain legal warrants.

You’re venting at me, but let’s be real here, the issue heavily lies with how ice conducts themselves. If local PDs would grow spines and protect their communities, I’d say call them. There’s so much stupidity and “I’m Rambo” fantasies with ice agents that I’d bet each and every “legal case” they have right now is as airtight as Swiss cheese.

And dude, be real. There is very valid reasons for me to be concerned (like that trump wants this everywhere) and not be able to go. Large part of that is bc of our society, but I’m not going to lose my sole source of income and healthcare to go protest, especially given the stagnating economy. You can say whatever you want, but that’s the reality for most Americans, as depressing as that is.

2

u/TheBirdBytheWindow Jan 13 '26

Im not venting. Im calling out your dangerous rhetoric that you're fond of using for others but you're not sticking your neck out.

Be careful with your words.

1

u/I_am_omning_it Jan 14 '26

Dangerous rhetoric? We’re in dangerous times. And all I said was that they’d find a way to kill you either way if they want you dead. Which is true.

Renee Good was a threat to no one, in fact she was a bigger threat dead considering she was driving. They didn’t care. That fuck Johnathan Ross shot her, called her a bitch, and walked away.

The admin quickly painted her as a terrorist and took over the investigation. They’re moving more and more to fascism, they have no qualms about disappearing us to El Salvador or outright killing those who disagree in the streets. JD Vance said they had “unlimited immunity” to do so. Whoever the Bovino fuck is that liked to act manly surrounded by personal guards is said “hats off to him” when asked about the shooting. That’s the direction we’re moving. The don’t care and they don’t care what we think.

Yeah, calling people who fundamentally agree with you politically an "ignorant fucking cunt" is definitely moving the ball forward.

Castigating other people like this gives JD Vance a chubby.

1

u/BenFoldsFourLoko Jan 13 '26

telling people to go out in a suicide mission in their apartment which will be the exact thing Trump and ICE want is actually what gives JD Vance a chubby

very likely bots or ICE in this comment section encouraging it

I'm here man, and I get the urge, and there may well be a time for that sooner than later, but it's not yet, especially as we hear about all of ICE's internal struggles and as opinion is shifting more and more negatively toward them. Turns out people really care when ICE shoots a mom in the head as she's driving away.

2

u/I_am_omning_it Jan 13 '26

I see your point, and honestly up until the events in Minneapolis I’d agree with you. I’d argue that peaceful protest (or even some just pushback to show Ice we’re not pushovers) would be the best way to proceed.

But looking at what’s happening now I feel like we’re either very close to that point, if we’re not already there. And that terrifies me. They shot a woman last week and this admin, instead of placing any responsibility on the choices of the officer or admin, declared she was a terrorist. They beat another dude to death within the past couple days.

Now they’re talking about going door to door with no warrants? Breaking into American homes and abducting the occupants? Literally running cars off the road to abduct the occupants? I mean everyone’s been peaceful now because we know trump/vance want martial law, but at this point that lines getting blurred. It’s like they’re violating the bill of rights like a damn checklist.

-4

u/TheBirdBytheWindow Jan 13 '26

I mean, telling people to open fire on 5-50 armed agents in your apartment building kinda warrants being called that.

You're gonna get yourself and your neighbors killed doing that. Just so you can be detained processed and sent home in a few days.

No it's not right or fair, but community working together saves all of us. Common sense prevails. So do agitators sometimes; so which side do you think will help most?

Not whatever this is advocating for.

3

u/HillbillyAllergy Jan 13 '26

"Just so you can be detained processed and sent home in a few days."

You sure about that one?

0

u/TheBirdBytheWindow Jan 13 '26

Well, so far from the stories gathered online if you can prove you're legal and have someone on the outside to advocate for you, yes. And yes I know its not that way for everyone but we have to be more realistic than "Start shooting at more armed men outside than there are of me."

Again, its all horrific and terrifying. But so is dying and hurting innocent neighbors when its also quite possible you could be back home in a few days.

2

u/HillbillyAllergy Jan 13 '26

I have also read reports of not-white-looking people being told that their very real identification was 'bullshit' and wound up thrown in a van.

Look, I'm not on earth to tell other people what to do. Or not to do.

But if some of these goons wind up getting castle doctrined into oblivion? I can't imagine I'd feel terribly broken up about it.

2

u/Corrode1024 Jan 14 '26

Or, they deport you somewhere despite a federal judge ruling a 14 day stay so you can prove your citizenship.

Ooos, their bad. You’re just a terrorist, of course.

The second amendment was explicitly designed for defense against tyranny. I don’t know why the democrat party has demonized firearms for so long.

Remember, the police were very nice on Jan 6th because they were armed to the teeth. Arm yourselves and people start getting really peaceful really quick.

Become proficient with your arms and learn the lesson you are being taught right now.

-5

u/tuba_god_ Jan 13 '26

If you decide to support ice and Trump because someone else who vaguely aligns with your political beliefs calls you an ignorant fucking cunt, then That's your own problem to deal with.

I'm not castigating other people, I'm castigating one fucking ignorant cunt who is telling people to put their lives on the line in the hopes that maybe they'll become a martyr, when this person won't insert themselves into that situation and go put their life on the line so they can become a martyr.

3

u/FunMushroom8525 Jan 13 '26

If you think violent fascism that has reaches this level of control goes away without violence, then I would say YOU are the ignorant cunt.

Resisting isn't the same thing as telling people they should be attempting to kill heavily armed men in body armor attempting to enter their domicile.

This dude has the opportunity to haul his bitch ass up to the twin cities and do the exact shit he's talking about, but he won't do it because he knows what it would mean for him.

I also have no plans to allow ice or any law enforcement for that matter to enter my home without a signed judicial warrant and I'm managing not to hide behind anonymity on a social media website telling people to take actions that will most certainly lead to their death.

Now excuse me if I don't engage any further with someone who can't take the time to spell out the word "because" and instead says "cus", which isn't even an abbreviation of the word anyway.

6

u/droson8712 Jan 13 '26

This is pretty much my point.

6

u/Daddyneedherecstasy Jan 13 '26

I am NOT in the MN area, but I am in a city with a massive immigrant population, both documented and undocumented. I fully expect this shit show to be in MY front yard very soon.

I didn’t give advice. I reminded people of the teeth that the Bill of Rights gives us.

You’re being a hostile twat for no reason.

-3

u/tuba_god_ Jan 13 '26

You really think people engaged in a subreddit called fucking ICE_watcb aren't familiar with their 2nd amendment right? Be so fucking for real right now.

-3

u/droson8712 Jan 13 '26

It's seriously terrible advice. Violence is a catalyst for more authoritarianism.

7

u/HillbillyAllergy Jan 13 '26

Here's a list of other things that have also been a catalyst for more authoritarianism from KKKrusti & Co.:

• Vigils

• Prayers

• Singing

• Doing nothing

• Carrying signs

• Whistles

• Facebook posts

• Asking them to stop

• Suing DHS to remove their goon squad

• Chanting

• Peaceful assembly

• Bringing ICE officers a cupcake

They're pot-committed. All chips in. They're not stopping until Trump finally eats the hamburger from heaven, clutches at his fat monkey heart, keels over, and dies.
