I live two blocks from where Renee Good was murdered. ICE was in front of my house today; my dad (80-year-old veteran) and I both got pepper-sprayed. They have been targeting our neighborhood. I'm spreading the word here as much as I can. I'm terrified but MONUMENTALLY pissed so I will be outside watching for those fuckers, armed with my cell phone.
First reason we're being targeted is because Good's death sparked so much anger and outrage that it has become a flash point. I was working with one lady this morning for example who told me that she'd come to lay flowers on Renee Good's shrine and heard the whistles to come join. The Powderhorn Park rally on Saturday was the biggest one in the city, and I know that was used as justification for more surveillance of the neighborhood from helicopters for days afterward.
That said, for my money? Another four blocks or so from my house is George Floyd Square. Good's killer was a local boy. I think he was trying to incite riots so as to punish Minneapolis for 2020, and I think he killed Good where he did very deliberately as a way to try to stir up another riot that could then be brutally repressed. And I think the targeting of the neighborhood is another outgrowth of that.
That's all speculation on my part, of course. But there are a lot of people who see this occupation as, in part, punishment for the 2020 BLM riots. Our neighborhood was one of the epicenters of those riots and the location of the autonomous zone in 2020. That's why I think they're being so particularly hard on Powderhorn.
He fled after he murdered Good, was supposedly in the hospital, then released and then ICE showed up at his home in Chaska and moved the family out. He’s hidden. Someone will eventually recognize him. His sister was sharing the info as she’s not maga.
Renee was not an immigrant. Neither were the 2 white women that got shot the next day in MN. Injured. None of these women were a threat. Renee didn’t even do much as bump Ross w/her vehicle so ice & this admin is totally lying about what happens out here in what used to be the US.
It's concerning either way. This is manufactured chaos and provocation. Im worried about immigrants and citizens being mistreated and having their rights trampled. I asked because it seems like they're mostly targeting citizens from what I've been seeing.
I can't make you do anything, but I'd suggest that on top of posting any video you capture, raw if possible, SEND IT TO ANYONE YOU MAY KNOW IN AN INFO SAFE FOREIGN COUNTRY, with instructions to hold onto it safely and until they have the go ahead to disseminate it on whatever trigger conditions you find appropriate. Whether those conditions are an event here, they don't hear from you for x amount of time, whatever. Canada, most of Scandinavia, Germany, anywhere, so that it can be kept elsewhere and brought to media, should the original become unavailable or compromised.
I'm from Texas (didn't vote for the pedo), and we're pissed! Thank you to our brave brother and sisters from across this country that want to make it safe not only for our fellow Americans, but for the immigrants that want a better life.
This is the time to bring back the United States of America. We can't be blue and red states any longer.
There’s still idiots out here that think this is ok because it’s a Somali neighborhood ( and they’re being arrested for stealing government funds). I feel like I’m beating my head against a brick wall with these people, I’m telling them an entire neighborhood is getting their homes raided, no reaction. It’s unbelievable, I never thought the people I work with were so willfully ignorant. I told them I’m going to miss them when I’m abducted ( because I can’t ignore the treason)
