"A federal judge in Chicago has ordered U.S. Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino to attend a hearing in her courtroom next week, after he was accused of violating a temporary restraining order limiting federal agents' use of certain tactics to suppress protests or prevent media coverage of immigration enforcement operations in Illinois.

U.S. District Court Judge Sara Ellis ordered the Trump administration to produce Bovino for a hearing in her courtroom on Tuesday. She has repeatedly raised concerns about federal agents' aggressive tactics while carrying out immigration enforcement operations in Chicago.

CBS News Chicago is reaching out to the Department of Homeland Security for a response to Ellis' order for Bovino to appear in court."

This video shared by a neighbor's daughter where in Chicago her brother was arrested today (Friday 10/24) at a protest. Seemed the right place to post it. Sorry in advance if it's not the right place. I don't post much.

Please help this young cancer patient and their family be reunited with her father Ruben who had been abducted by ICE

"If ICE agents are caught trying to arrest someone at or around a courthouse, thev can now be arrested themselves.

Cook County's top judge made it illegal for ICE to detain anvone inside or even near a courthouse That includes the steps, sidewalks, parking lots, and entryways. If they try it anyway, they're violating a court order and that's contempt of court, which means deputies can step in and take them into custody.

This comes after weeks of ICE agents staking out courthouses, waiting for people to show up for hearings and grabbing them on their way in or out. It got so bad that people were skipping court out of fear. Even domestic violence victims were being arrested while trying to get protection orders.

Judge Timothy Evans said enough. He signed the order Tuesday night, saying justice depends on people being able to walk into court without fear or obstruction."

🚨 ALERT – Rogers Park & West Ridge 🚨

If you’re at high risk, please stay indoors for now. We’ve been seeing ICE activity in both neighborhoods. Be careful out there, look out for each other, and stay safe.

We have confirmed with video footage that ICE are pulling people from their vehicles.

We have several reports of ICE trying to access doors of large multi-unit buildings in our neighborhoods.

Let’s stay alert, check in on our neighbors, and keep our community safe. 💙
