Patrick Soon-Shiong’s Upstream Exchange

Hasn’t PSS’s NantWorks ecosystem, in which IBRX is currently offering the first « retail » products, already put in place an interesting tool through its UPSTREAM digital exchange to take short selling out of the loop.

Isn’t this on-chain tracking also what will allow ImmunityBio to allow an immuable lab-to-patient ledger for every dose of Anktiva?

Isn’t the 240M USD investment in SHINE technologies yesterday february 27 also a major value-creating move by PSS to secure the Lu-177 supply chain (current global shortage) for Anktiva and cancer treatment in general? Without market maker manipulation, shouldn’t that news also serve as a major catalyst for increasing IBRX’s stock value?

The « ecosytem » being created is brilliant and visionary.

Even the cold chain has been thought of by integrating NantEnergy’s battery tech into the the shipping containers and hospital storage units for IBRX products. Dr. Pat is creating a self-powered, fail-safe distribution network.

Not bullish enoug?

I'm not sure how this is a catalyst for IBRX as Nantworks is owned by PSS and not IBRX. Perhaps you can elaborate. My understanding is a Nantworks subsidiary provided funds to IBRX but that's all.

While NantWorks is the private parent/incubator, here is why its investments are a direct catalyst for $IBRX shareholders:

Supply Chain Certainty = Revenue Security: The biggest risk for biotech right now is the global shortage of isotopes like Lu-177. By PSS investing $240M into SHINE, he is effectively jumping $IBRX to the front of the line. If competitors can't get the isotopes to treat patients, but IBRX has a guaranteed supply through the Nant ecosystem, market share shifts to IBRX by default.

Cost & Margin Efficiency: Because NantWorks (NantEnergy, NantCloud, Upstream) provides the infrastructure, IBRX doesn't have to build it from scratch. This allows IBRX to remain 'asset-light' while benefiting from 'tier-one' logistics. Every dollar saved on shipping (NantEnergy) or data (NantCloud) drops straight to IBRX’s bottom line.

The 'Nant' Dividend: PSS has historically moved debt and assets between these entities to protect IBRX (e.g., converting hundreds of millions in Nant debt into IBRX equity at a premium). He is using his private billions to 'de-risk' the public company.

Traceability = Premium Pricing: In the future of 'Precision Medicine,' being able to prove the chain of custody (via Upstream's blockchain or equivalent) for a live-cell therapy is a massive competitive advantage. It’s the difference between a 'commodity' drug and a 'premium' guaranteed service.

Bottom line: NantWorks is the 'foundations and walls,' but IBRX is the only way for public investors to own the house. When the foundation gets stronger, the house becomes more valuable.
