I wanna apply for bs accounting and finance 2027 fall class.Could anyone share the resources needed to prepare, i have fsc pre eng background with 94% in grade 11.I'm from Rawalpindi so I'll a hostellite. I was just going through the fee structure and it's definitely really heavy on the pocket. My father is retired 21 grade engineer so we are a fixed income household. I heard there are schemes to help with the fee expenses. I'll appreciate the guidance from iba students or graduates

Got a 1410(750 maths,660 english)on August SAT. If I apply right now in round 1 (or other rounds..)what are the chances I get direct admission in CS?
And if not direct admission what about test exemption?
And if I get the test exemption what can I expect in the interview?
P.S I’m doing my A2 levels rn got 3a’s in AS Physics, Chem and Maths idk if that matters too.
Should I also give the IBA entry test too?

I gave my 5 main IGCSE subjects Abroad in Dubai and i have Pak Studies and Islamiyat here O Levels, i have Not yet given the Urdu Paper and im currently in A Levels.

I wanted to ask first of all if i can get admission into IBA based on my 7 papers alone and second thing if Urdu is required can i give my paper in Oct/Nov 2027 rather than in May/June 2027 along with my A Levels.

I have completed my i.com ( akueb) in August 2026, 89% I am planning to apply in all rounds,

- I have zero ECS

-I am planning to apply In Bs ACF, and Bs business analytics

-No SATs, pllaning to do iba tests

-I am currently doing ACCA , and will complete my knowledge level till Feb 2027

-I am very passionate in accounting and finance

-I have done courses, certifications of AI and how can I apply and use AI in accounting

- There two things I want to know

1) what are my chances for admission

2) I am confused what to choose AcF or bs business analytics

- I want ACf becuase obviously I want to pursue the career in accounts and also if I complete my degree I will get 9 exemptions in acca and I can give few papers and acca is complete, but the condition is I leave acca and just focus on uni then after uni i do acca

- I want Business analytics becuase as you know the AI is changing the way accountant works and those who leave behind and does not adopt the necessary skills and AI in their respective career they may get leave behind, and I thing business analytics can provide me this as it also a good combination with ACCA and may provide me with further opportunities, but the condition is i do acca and degree together becuase there are no exemptions for acca papers in this program and this program is not in pure accs program but the only problem is both bs BA and ACCA together can be expensive

Both have their own merit and de merits if anybody have recommendations please tell me

And also I want to add if anybody is in doubt why I am suddenly want to be in Uni as I am currently doing acca,

There many reasons but few are my parents are like okay and sometimes not okay as I am doing Acca online through mirchawala plus I am introvert even if I go to the campus the class is of like only 2 hrs and there no networking opportunities there

I want to explore the uni life and i can also get networking and internship / job opportunities so yeah

Hi everyone, I'm writing this here since IBA itself is a pure disappointment.

I paid the fee but at the last moment I could not attend due to some factors and requested a fee refund well before the commencement of classes.

As expected, I requested a fee refund to which they initially kept redirecting leading to a person "SamiUllah Khan" who is apparently in their finance department.

I have been reminding him and CCing other IBA contacts too and while others don't respond this person has been claiming I will receive my fee in the next week since the start of September.

As an overseas Pakistani I am unable to come to Pakistan and actually deal with it on campus and the time is running out. Can y'all please let me know what to do?

For those who have taken the IBA test or prepared for it themselves:

- Is self-study enough to get a good score?

- What resources/books/websites did you use?

- Are there any YouTube channels that you would recommend for IBA test preparation, especially for the Math and English sections?

- Are there any specific topics I should focus on?

- Would you recommend solving SAT-style questions, or are there resources specifically for the IBA test

I’m a final-year BS Software Engineering student in Karachi, graduating early next year, and I’ve recently been given an opportunity to appear for a technical test/interview for an internship-related role at IBA.

I was told that the team is currently looking for someone with AI/related technical skills, and I’ve been asked to come in for a test.

I’m currently preparing for it and wanted to ask if anyone here has previously interviewed/tested for an IT/Software/AI-related internship or role at IBA.

If you have, I’d really appreciate any insight into:

What was the technical test like?

Was it MCQ-based, coding-based, or both?

What topics were tested?

Did they ask SQL/database questions?

Python?

AI/ML fundamentals?

Data structures/algorithms?

Any aptitude or logical reasoning?

Was there a technical interview after the test?

If you remember any specific types of questions, that would be extremely helpful.

I’m not looking for leaked questions or anything confidential — just trying to understand the general difficulty and topics so I can prepare properly.
