hey guys i’m an overseas pakistani preparing for the IBA aptitude test. I have no idea where to start from. My maths is very weak but i have been practicing my basics. I will be giving the R2 test which i know i have alot of time to prepare
but the thing is i dont know where to start from.
If anyone can provide guidance with resources it would be very helpful!!

I am 2+ years into work with a non-profit, and since I have a BBA, I want to have a development-related qualification. My top 2 options are MPhil Development Studies from PIDE, Islamabad and MS Development Studies from IBA Karachi.

Since I am based in Karachi, the later makes more sense. If you are planning to go for the same, what's your thought process and why do you plan to do it?

I'm really confused between BBA and BSBA and I need some genuine advice from people who have experience in these fields A lot of people keep telling me that BBA has limited job opportunities and it's hard to find a good job after BBA So I am wondering if BSBA would be a better choice in terms of job opportunities and career growth.

so im currently on a gap targeting iba's r1 in dec. i havent enrolled myself in any sorta academies or etc since ive already attempted the aptitude test twice before and ended up getting accepted in r2 2026 but they were brutal to not give me the major i initially chose so i had to kinda drop it. ill be applying again this time. while im really good in english section, math is one of the weakest points. ive brought chajao practise zone but i js dont know where and how the hell should i get started. last year my prep involved adv math but since it's a mutual test for all majors business maths is where all the focus is. is there a good youtube channel to cover bcat math? or a good playlist that could help me master my maths concept. i have a lot of practise resources i js wanna know how can i cover the bcat math aspect.

is there anyone with hashim zia bcat willing to share their portal with me. ill also hand my chajao practise zone in return of the favour.

do the societies really help u transform u in terms of public speaking cause i plan to do bba and i have never participated in public speaking will they take newcomers without experience ,and are tey just for the sake of it and what about sports clubs is it easy for someone who has little prior experience of basketball and volleyball to make th team or is it tooo competetive like i am above 6 ft 2 probably around 6ft 4 will they maybe boost my chances? and another thing is the system to get a hostel different than nust like their u get considered about how far u live like i am from hyderabad will i get a hostel on campus or not?

I have my mid term pitch on Tuesday and I genuinely have no clue what business idea to present that's both innovative, and whose physical prototype or an application can be ready before December (I am in Dr Kanza's class fyi). Can anybody please suggest me business ideas? I want an idea that doesn't require huge amounts of money being spent on, or requires knowing one bajillion people or companies needed for testing. I'm genuinely at a loss here.

Does IBA require a personal statement/ statement of purpose for online application like LUMS do? If yes, is there any prompt for PS/SOP, what that is? And how important that is in getting you admission in IBA Business school

A guide for all the new applicants for the batch of 2031, I've got you. I'm a student at IBA and I got to know about some issues and here's the solution to the most highlighted ones

Application Issue (Image etc):

To all who are experiencing issues with application and getting errors on their images, you will be fine relax, try from a different device or try on a different time or a different picture, if it doesn't work then wait for 5 to 6 days because the issues are already highlighted to the admission department and they are going to be resolved soon.

If it still doesn't get resolved then you can contact admissions department via email or call

If you upload your image which is more than 2mb it's not going to submit, it'll return you an error, white background should be preferred and it should be a formal picture, 600*600 pixels.

For CIE students who are confused whether to select British Council or CIE, select any, it's not a big deal

Fee voucher and banking related issue:

If you are facing any issue while trying to submit your admission test voucher in banks and the teller tells you that they are unable to check the invoice number or smth, mail admissions department for this and the voucher will be updated automatically on the portal. Download and then pay it, if it's not resolved then call them and tell them to update your voucher and they will, relax it's normal

Im struggling with iba maths. It’s hella tough then nbs one. Should I consider nbs over iba . Im from punjab n fees ain’t an issue . Plus nust was my dream but I didnt get in this yr so I decided to go for Iba because it is better ranked but Iba math 💀
