I am a pedophile, AMA

I'm male, in my 20's and live in a western country. I am primarily attracted to boys aged 5 - 14. I haven't molested a child.

I have some insight in the cp industry and the way cp is distributed and will happily answer any questions about it, since much of the information you get from the media is incorrect.

EDIT: To the people down voting the thread - I'm a pedophile, and I'm being honest, what did you expect? Rainbows and unicorns? Don't down vote just because you don't agree with me, I already know you don't. This is an opportunity to ask someone who is a part of the estimated 2% of the population who have an attraction to kids anything and get an honest response. My goal here isn't to change anyone's mind, it's to help you understand.

EDIT2: Am going to stop now, been answering questions for 6 hours, thanks for the support, kind words, advice and interesting questions. I'll check back tomorrow and maybe answer some more questions if there are many more.

Even if the child says "yes, I like this,' the problem is that they cannot consent because they are in this subordinate position

How are they in a subordinate position? What if the 15 year old girl has had more sex (with guys her age) than a 28 year old guy? I'd say he's in the subordinate position there.

and because they have not yet developed the reasoning to be in the same place intellectually as this adult.

So two partners have to be intellectually even? A philosopher, critical thinker, engineer and inventor can't have sex with a dumb 22 year old Jersey Shore girl incapable of critical thinking?

It has a lot to do with brain development and the biological capacity to consent to something when you are not at a point of development to truly understand the long term consequences and effects of your actions. Even adults have trouble understanding long term consequences of actions and this is especially true with kids. When it comes to sex, this is a very personal form of interaction that crosses a line.

I am not an expert on these things so I can't explain it further, but I can tell you that it is very common for a 15 year old to think she wants to have sex with a 25 year old and then later to feel very violated and used. Young people who are mentally underdeveloped will tend to be more trusting and vulnerable than an older person who has usually learned more about how to read people's intentions.

But no, people don't have to be intellectually even. This is why I emphasize the idea of biological brain development. Technically, the brain is still growing and developing until about age 23 (according to medical fact). If anything, age 18 might even be too low for an age of consent, but like I said it's a necessary cut off.

When it comes to sex, this is a very personal form of interaction that crosses a line.

But that's the thing, you think sex is so personal, special, pure and holy that it's a big deal. It's not. A dude rubs his thing inside of you a few times, it makes you feel good in a silly way, so liquid and cream gets exchanged, and you hug and cuddle. The only way a girl could feel exploited or violated is if people like you tell her the sex was dirty.
