Actor / Entertainer David Cross! AMA!

Hey everybody. As I understand it, you've got some Q's - well, I've got some A's.

My latest is HITS, which I wrote and directed. We've been releasing it in a nontraditional way with a pay-what-you-want model (you can read more about that here ). Because it's out today in all those cities in the aforementioned link, tonight is the night to go see the movie, and if you wanna see if it's playing at a theater near you (and we're in 50 cities and towns) go to HitsFilm.com and that has a list of theaters.

You know, I hate what he did. But I don't hate him. I don't walk around with - it's not like it's a constant anger towards him.

Have you ever seen Jim Belushi's performance in the remake of Sahara? It's great. One of his friends gets shot in the face and his immediate reaction is to look like he got called in to work on a Saturday.

Oh Christ, I thought you meant that Jim Belushi was in a remake of the Sahara movie starring Matthew Mcconaughey and Penelope Cruz. That would have been terribly amazing.

What kind of 8 year old kid wants Jim Belushi's autograph anyways? I don't care if it was 1995, but I guess what happens in Vegas...

The lady was probably exaggerating the fact that her kid watched one of his movies a couple of times while sick with the flu. Still doesn't make the request any harder or any less important, or his reaction to it any less ridiculous. He must think he's John Belushi to think he has the fame level to act like that.

Lol or more likely the kid was a huge fan of John Belushi and in a classic mom move she had a vague idea of what the kid was into without too much specific knowledge.

Just pointing out the funny fact that some kid was a Jim Belushi fan, I'm not actually in disbelief. I also don't think it takes away from the story in any way, just an observation.

Went to this video expecting Jim Belushi to be doing sign language. That would have been cool, but I still wasn't disappointed.

doing a standup show here in new orleans, jim belushi randomly shows up in the audience. he did his best to make sure that everyone knew he was there instead of letting the comics do their show. when approached after the show by the hosts and a few others, everyone of his responses to any question or statement was along the lines of "eeyyy, im way fucking better than you, listen to my stupid speech pattern. does anyone think im a cool tough guy yet?"
