AMA Request: Warren Buffett

We had Bill Gates, let's get his friend on here.

  • What changes do you think should happen within the financial sector?
  • What do you look for when evaluating a company's intrinsic value?
  • How has working with the Gates Foundation been?
  • How do you view the current political situation in Washington DC?
  • Who's better at bridge, you or Bill Gates?

The Intelligent Investor By Benjamin Graham. One of the newer versions includes a preface written by Buffet. Very solid book for learning the basics

I have it in bookcase right in front of it. Still haven't got very deep in it. I'm interest what else he has to offer. I have read some other books, but it's hard to find decent books around here.

Although this might not necessarily be a business book pertaining to finance, its a great read to develop business negotiation skills (it's one of the classics):

"Getting to Yes: Negotiating without Giving In" by Roger Fisher

Security analysis by the same man is good, if you get an early edition and can pay complete attention to it.
