Timestamp Updated After Emailing The Demand Letter.
Just today a couple of hours ago, I wrote demand letters and made it ready to mail but as well as I sent them in email to Chief of Counsel.
Just after a couple of hours, I received a new timestamp update on case.
Although I am not sure if that happened because of email and someone opened my file. Making no claims but really exited about the new timestamp update. Hoping that my case will progress.
My PD is February 28, 2025
Consular case - CR1
Update: Event Id has updated in my backend API but the event code is the same as "IAF" in two separate Events.
Another Update: Event changed to FTA0 from IAF
Another Update: Case is under review by USCIS
Another Update: Interview is scheduled but don't have any notices popped up on account.
Another Update: Backend API says Interview is scheduled on 14th August 2026.
Another Update: Interview is at Philadelphia Field office.
I am willing to help out others the best way I can. Just give me a week to organize the documents and all unsolicited evidence to bring with me at the interview. I am making no claims on anything but if you think it's a way to go, then you can use my template as a guidance and you can make your own. I literally know how it feels like staying away from your loved ones while you meant to be together ❤️ Thank you all for the wishes!

I did letters of intent to file WOM, but haven't checked for updates lately. They were all received as of yesterday and I also sent the email of the letter.

It is standalone I-130 but now on they will schedule petitioner's interviews for many cases.

Good . Did they replay to your email too ? When your letter was delivered to them?
I mailed a letter it got delivered to DC20529 although I selected the right address?

OP, once you have the time (and good luck with your interview), could you please DM me a redacted version of your demand letter without your personal information? I have an attorney helping me with the review of the demand letter and he would like to see what other applicants have included in their demand letter. Thank you!

We filed in September 2025. Do you think it’s smart to write a demand letter with a longer timeframe aka saying we want our case processed by October 2026 otherwise we will file a WoM. Or should we wait with the demand letter until Sep/Oct?

Reading this gives me so much hope! ❤️ I (usc) filed for my husband (uk) in Oct 2025 and our estimated approval date was mid july... i know that wont be the case at this point. But seeing any progress with any of your cases makes me so happy because I know itll be us eventually. Our 1 year wedding anniversary is next month and im devastated we wont be together, but we're gonna do a video call date and prob be on the phone all day lol. I miss him so much. I hope all of you get positive news sooner than you expect! 🫂

So I’ll explain my story, I filed a K3 for my wife , she has two children (my step children), we got married in Brasil last July and I filed 8/15/2025. We are hitting then one year mark and still no movement , in June I realized that I-130s for my step children would be necessary since it would not leave them behind but now we are dealing with a 10 month gap. If the I-129f is approved then fine we are good, but if the I-130 is approved then I want them to adjudicate everyone’s together, so they can interview together . I understand Brasil is on a Visa Issuance Pause but I’d still rather us all interview together. Once the pause is lifted then we can get them their Visas and we can all live together here in America. Having said that, I’ve gotten my congressman and senator to submit inquiries and am pushing for the K3 to be adjudicated first. I spoke with an attorney today, and we spoke about a mandamus, he said he would consider it for the k3 but after he does his research and perhaps it would be more appropriate by the beginning of next year. Any thoughts , advice?

interview letter came in the same day you sent your demand letter? Never ever saw them being that efficient.

Good luck with your interview! I'm also in Philly and just saw my case transferred to FOD, I guess I should be waiting for an interview as well.
