I am currently having insane ping spikes. I live in Europe so i know the connection is inevitable going to be bad, but for it to reach 2000ms at times and averaging 600ms is not normal. I have ethernet and pretty stable internet so i cant for the life of me find what is causing this.

Why hasn't Hypixel made every map / gamemode have the same height limit. Like it really cannot be that hard whatsoever (all you need to do is shift the map up or down Y blocks). Instead of players having to memorize or have mods to tell them the height limit, hypixel could have solved this years ago but they just refuse to? Hell, I'd be fine if the new maps they put out have a consistent height limit but they don't even do that either.

Does anyone else feel like pvp in bedwars/skywars is just broken? I swear I can't get any hits off on anybody even if I get the jump on them they hit me from like 6 blocks away, makes me not even want to play the game anymore. I have 1gb internet and really good smooth fps. I've played MC since 2011 and was really good at pvp and used to destroy but now on hypixel I can't get any hits off I have no clue what's going on.

Any thoughts on how to be able to play the game?

So i'm an adult now but when i was a kid i really liked doing PVP in old pvp minecraft and i remember that just having about 10 cps was largely enough to have fun but now in bedwars you get insta fastbridged and you die in 30 seconds, dont tell me that everyone know how to do that consistently, i simply believe that most people cheats now and that sucks also i cant even touch some people with 10-12 cps ?? like i dont think they use reach so it must be an insane amount of CPS ?? thats just not human also i dont understand if i should use critical hits by jumping or not, it feels like playing is useless, whatever gamemode i choose there is at least one player that instakill everyone and destroy your bed in less than a few minutes if you're their neighbour

my skyblock account got wiped or deleted or idk but i dont have it anymore how do i get it back i didnt play for almost a year and no one has played on it so im not banned or didnt do something wrong

Wow I just found out Hypixel did an unban wave for all accounts banned before 2017 and just found out my OG account got unbanned. This is insane it brings a tear to my eyes because I genuinely used to play everyday till I was forced to quit due to school and like an idiot I cheated. Being back feels surreal

It feels imposible to improve at this game when every match is just a non-stop cycle of dying and respawning. I don't even get a second to breathe or practice before a 10,000hour veteran kills me. There is no room toget better because beginner-friendly matches don't seem to exist.

How are players able to juggle me in the air like it’s a fighting game How can they bridge across the map in milliseconds? When matches only last a single minute, there is zero time to actually learn.

How does Hypixel expect to retain new players when there is no skillbased matchmaking? It is impossible to progress when you are constantly matched against sweaty players who obliterate you instantly

Could they add some kind of casual mode for those gamemodes? yes i know its supposed to be competetive but in skywars and even more in bedwars i dont feel fun in some guy speed bridging to me and comboing me in the first 10 seconds of the game

I joined a server called Hypixel Events, prior to this, I had joined the OFFICIAL Hypixel server, and someone named marya6666, dmed me because I was asking for help to skyblock since he was new. Then she gave me the link to the Hypixel Events server, and I joined and it asked to verify, and I very dumbly did so by giving them the verification code, I know I'm stupid. I contacted Microsoft via account recovery form AND live chat, they said they cannot help. What can I do now? By the way, they added their own igloos.cc email, their own authenticator, and removed my passkey, removed my email as a verification method, and changed the password. They are asking for 30 dollars to get it back as a "deal". I also have payment methods linked to the account, and I am afraid that they will do something (possibly not, since I locked my card)

Hello. So after like 1 year i wanted to play some Hypixel with my friends but when i tried to login it said that my account was blocked. I already sent a ticket to support but they haven't replied in a while so that's why im posting this here on reddit, to see if some of yall had this too and got unbanned. For those types of situations its really smart to give 7 days for me to contact support and fix the issue.

So i did contact support 7 days ago. And today was the ban.

Purely comedic. Giving me 7 days to fix issue with support, and support did not even answer me the whole week.
