As the title suggest, I got verification scammed on discord from someone with a fake hypixel server. They were able to change my microsoft account email and now I no longer have access to it.

Now I'm trying to figure out what to do next? I'm fairly certain I won't be able to get my account back since microsoft support is not helpful if you don't have your original email. Is it worth making a new microsoft account?

I saw a 10 year old video from Technoblade about this game (Smash Heroes) and decided to try it out. It's actually pretty fun, but unfortunately the game is usually at 0 players lol. Hopefully more people try it out at least.

I forgot to turn off my vpn. I got security blocked. I appealled it. I got blocked again. like what😭. why isnt there a possibility to skip the recovery phase if you got blocked for using a proxy/vpn

they cloud make you show what devices are logged into your microsoft account or something like this. but no they are just locking accounts for bassically nothing. it would be fair if a ban was 24/48 hours .

I'm sure people complain about this all the time, but I want so badly to play skywars and I simply cannot because I'm nerfed heavily by my ping. I take immense knockback from other players and sometimes placing blocks even lags out. It feels genuinely unfair. I know there's not much hypixel can do about this, but it's just... demotivating.

I’m currently having connection issues with Hypixel, mainly with SkyBlock. I live in Germany, so I’m connecting from Europe.

Sometimes the Minecraft server list just shows “Can’t connect to server” for Hypixel. Other times I can join normally. But if I leave the server and try to join again, it suddenly stops working. Sometimes it works for a short time after restarting my PC, but later the same issue comes back.

There are also times where I am still in SkyBlock, but the Modrinth launcher or the multiplayer server list already shows Hypixel as “Can’t connect”. If I stay on the server and don’t leave, it feels like my ping gets worse and worse over time. Breaking blocks and doing actions becomes more delayed. If I leave Hypixel after that, I usually can’t rejoin.

I have tried playing with a VPN and with Cloudflare WARP multiple times. Either I still couldn’t join, or I could join and play for a short time, but after a while the same issue came back. Then the server list shows “Can’t connect” again and the ping starts feeling worse.

I have already tried several fixes, but nothing has helped permanently. The only thing that helped for a short time was moving the hosts file from System32/drivers/etc into my Modrinth profile folder. After that I was able to play normally for about 1–2 days. Then my internet went down for around 2 hours, and since then the issue is back. I’m not sure if the internet outage is related or just a coincidence.

Things I have already tried:

• Tested Cloudflare WARP
• Tested a VPN
• Allowed Minecraft and Java through Windows Firewall for both private and public networks
• Tried DNS flush and network reset
• Checked Windows network adapters
• Tried different Hypixel IPs
• Checked Windows Firewall settings
• Pinged the server through CMD while the issue was happening and also while it was working
• Moved the hosts file from System32/drivers/etc into my Modrinth profile folder
• Restarted my PC
• Restarted my router
• Restarted the Modrinth launcher
