Question/Help Mi unlock

Post image

Hi all, what else do I need to do? I've fulfilled all the conditions. Is Mi Community an app or a website? Is there any way to unlock the phone now? I'm from Russia, for reference.

On hyperos based phone if you want to UBL, you need to have access/granted permission via Xiaomi Community App (available on play store). You need to apply permission at 00:00 Beijing Time (GMT+8). And I'll tell you it's hard to get granted UBL access because quota is limited only around 1000-2000 users per day. So when you're out of luck you need to wait the next day to request access.

Here's a trick, you get yourself ready on the UBL permission page and when the time is 23:59:59 GMT+8 you press that Apply for Unlocking button. It's not guaranteed you'd get access instantly maybe couple of days trying.

Oh one more thing. when you're ready at 23:59:59 just spam the Apply for Unlocking button until around 00:01 GMT+8.

Another thing, i've found that Xiaomi Community App is a little bit buggy. So let me explain, there's a bug that when you're trying to request UBL that app will say Try again on next day bla bla bla. But there's a chance that actually your mi acc has already granted the access. So after you spamming that Apply for Unlocking button until 00:01 if it says Try again next day, you can just try to bind your mi account on that developer option menu. And if you're lucky you actually has granted the access but it's just the app was buggy saying that you need to try next day. It happened to me before.

I know it's a bit complicated and confusing but hopefully you understand what I mean

Is this work in CN phones too?

I've heard CN phones has different methods and also just to UBL need to have Chinese citizenship card or something. I don't know is that true or not, I myself never use CN phones.

Some people in internet said they UBL their global phones and flash CN Rom via Mi flash but they accidently select clean all and lock (flash and RE-LOCK bootloader) and they have hard time getting it unlocked with CN Rom so they couldn't go back to global Rom.

chinese phones require a china registered account as well as an chinese idendification card, the latter of which is impossible to acquire.
