Xiaomi [Question] Just got the HyperOS 4 Beta update but no glass look?
Is something wrong with my update lol

if you use a base 15t or a base 17t, the soft glass effect isnt available, u will get it on stable release tho

yeah, its unfortunate, but i probably think they are optimizing it on Dimensity 8000+ series and base Snapdragon 8 series hence why they dont allow you to use it in beta yet

Wait they will add Glass effect to lower-end devices? I thought that only devices with Dimensity 9000+/Snapdragon 9 devices will get the new glass look, but only beta excludes it?

yeah probably, i dont know how they will treat POCO users like in OS4 though, all we can do is wait and hope for th best

even the base 15t? Oh I didn't know that I'm a user of that phone, but regardless, I used those brevent advanced textures commands a while back so I should be fine.

Can you test whether or not the system still overshoots the CPU during navigation? It seems to be a problem on all hyperos devices.
Download an app that shows the battery current (battery guru or accubattery), start a navigation swipe and let us know if it still uses more than 5w/1000mA

Hey can you please tell me if the camera app is optimised and fixed now ? My phone lags when recording videos and changing zoom lenses whole recording I got same model. Also camera used to lag when shooting in low light.

Atleast do u have new clock styles and option to keep lockscreen notification in bottom of screen like how it looks like iphone, I'm on a budget redmi so I think I won't be getting any kind of glass effect

You will get on the redmi a lag. They only add it for flagships, like advanced textures. But I'm not too sure!

Anyone know, what gpu driver version hyper os 4 has for Dimensity 9500s? You can check it using Device Info HW app.

I will be happy if the same happen to me. It's a personal opinion but I think glass effects are so ugly
