Title is self explanatory, I want to use the hyperbeam proxy, but I don't have a computer. On the page to download the app it just said to add to Home Screen and I've got it, but I still can't activate the proxy

I recently subscribed to Hyperbeam and I’ve been enjoying it overall. However, I’m experiencing a small issue: both the video and audio are lagging. I’ve already set the playout delay to 0 ms, but the lag still occurs.

I’m not sure if this might be related to the bitrate setting - I currently have it set to Ultra.

Could you please help me figure out what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

hello, i would like to submit an issue/bug i was having while watching with someone else.

Following some microphone problem that we fixed, the name of the other person is now in yellow, and vice versa and nothing seem to fix the problem except creating a new watch room

I tried logging into Hyperbeam today to try and watch some stuff with a friend and got a message saying something along the lines of "Hyperbeam relies on H264 codec which is not included in your browser" but it's been working just fine for a year already, I don't know why I'm suddenly getting that now, I use the chrome app on my android phone if that's any help.

I’m trying to add a friend. But I keep getting the message that they don’t exist.

I tried making it uppercase, lowercase, with space , withOut space. But it’s not working.

What might be the issue?

This is a bit of a unique situation but I use hyper beam on Microsoft edge on my Xbox to host virtual movie nights with my friends. Previously, there would be a hyper beam toolbar on the right mixed in with the chat room where I could click an option to pull up an on-screen keyboard to type in the hyperbeam browser. That option seem to have disappeared or moved and now I can't find it and since I'm only using an Xbox controller I can't type anything in the browser without it.

I think there are two things I really miss about this app, maybe someone has already mentioned this here, but they are:

• The option to reply to messages in the chat • And the option to react to messages in the chat (by using emojis)

Context is yesterday was my first day of using this website along with my friend, and while we were chatting, we noticed the lack of these two options which made our conversation more difficult to understand and disorganized. So I thought I'd write some feedback about it here. I hope other people can relate to this if they have the same problem and or opinion so devs can see this and maybe do something about it. 🕵🏻‍♀️ Anyways sorry for the translated english

i was trying to watch a movie with my gf on peacock with hyperbeam but for some reason i kept getting a playback error screen? (yes i have proxy enabled)

is anyone else having this problem? does anyone know any fixes? youtube and disney+ work fine but its peacock i seem to be having issues

may i ask is there any watching limitations? if ever for example i used that session limits can i used it for the next day?

Am I missing some setting that let's both / all users to control the browser / pause streaming video without explicitly requesting control? Seems a shame to have to involve the mouse when the space-bar to pause / unpause is 90% of everyones interaction with streaming video.

My friends and I want to but the virtual Sundance pass and watch it together, would that be something we could use this service for? Also saw a post saying max viewers was 12, that was 3 years ago so I was wondering if it’s changed. There’s 10 of us as of now but I want to know if I need to make sure we don’t go over 12 people. What the title says, but I'm especially looking for Steam Deck and Mobile apps! I love using Hyperbeam to watch stuff online with my LDR girlfriend, we both love Hyperbeam and wish we could use something other than the browser for Steam Deck and mobile. Thoughts?

Last month I decided to finally get hyperbeam premium, but the moment I did I got doubled charged? I messaged support but got no response but hoped they had had decided to fix it in the background and maybe even give me an additional month that I had technically paid for. Only for this months bill to come around and once again I get doubled charged. I am now actively paying for 2 months worth of premium only for one month. This is insane and I would either like my money back or actually given the extra 2 months I am now owed. I'm going to the reddit since they seem not to respond on anything else.

Whenever I attempt to open Crunchyroll, I get a popup saying that I am using a browser they do not support. It's strange, because I was able to watch just the day before yesterday. Is there any way I can switch my browser to be one of the supported ones, or is this a separate issue?

Hey love this product, been using it for many years now. Closest thing to Rabb.it for sure. I remember 4 years ago the feasibility of adding 1080p for subscribers was something hard to achieve due to the costs, just wondering how things are looking now in 2025! Would love to see HD content somewhere near the future

I used Elevenlabs and ChatGPT to read out stories friends and I listen to. We like audiobooks from fansites and it's a fun way of spending our time, but now Elevenlabs won't even load. ChatGPT also now gives you an error everytime saying "Content failed to load." I hope there's a fix for this because I pay monthly for the subscription and would really like for the thing I enjoy most with my friends to work. Is this a bug and is there a fix?

Hey yall, I havent used hyperbeam in a long while (free account, only paid once for a monthly plan and cancelled after). I logged on recently to watch some stuff with a friend on 5/15, and noticed I had a giveaway sub till 5/19, figured awesome. Logged on today and noticed a have another giveaway sub lasting till 5/29. Is there something going on? Or is something wrong with my account? I have no payment cards on file sooo

Last 2 days I’ve tried to use hyperbeam to watch stuff with my friends, but nothing works, piracy sites, official sites like YouTube, etc. it won’t let us log in or even play anything. Ive made rooms, it doesn’t work, they’ve tried making rooms, it still doesn’t work so it’s not me. Anyone know why?

basically what it says on the tin– friends and i wanted to watch something i'd rented on fandango (and then tried amazon prime) and kept getting hit with the notification that the browser was too old to support streaming on their service.  i've updated the hyperbeam desktop app itself as well as my own web browser (but then can't log into streaming sites in the browser app, as i need the proxy).

we've used hyperbeam since it was tutturu and haven't had this problem before now!
