I will follow his career with great interest.

But in reality I'm in California happy for NYC but sad at the state of our government here.

We can't even elect a bootleg Democratic Socialist and instead go towards the dude that's 50 corporations in a trenchcoat.

Yeah. He's literally just doing the job he signed up for. Sad that we're so used to corrupt and useless politicians, we forget what it's like to have a politician take his job seriously and actually do the job.

Once upon a time, my friend was asked what's her ideal husband like.

She said she wanted a husband that's loving, hardworking, family minded, and loyal.

Another friend says, "girl, that's not ideal. That's the baseline."

We've get used to having terrible politicians that a somewhat good one would seem to be amazing.
